Actually he blows up Vincent most of that game, but also takes two monster shots over the middle from Vincent and Brian Dawkins and STILL gets into the endzone.

I've only seen the clips unfortunatly.

This guys a monster, 'nuff said.

Boston was an @$$hole in San Diego like TO is being in Philly

How do you figure? Or are you just name-calling because you feel like it?

The only distraction D-Bo ever caused in SD was between him and their strength coach. D-Bo was on his own training regime. But that's neither here nor there. He's a Dolphin now and has done everything we've asked. Dude, if you're caught up in the miniscule events which ocurred in SD for Boston, I suggest you move on.

based on your sig i can tell that you have no bias.

i have never seen Boston play. never. all my information i got from phin fans on THIS BOARD last year. this site is like a f@#king school of fish i tell you... everyone cries one thing one day, then the next its something completely different... and if you try to point out what was said, everyone vehemently denies it. Were you around last year? did you not hear all the discussions and articles? maybe his ankles weren't "small", but they were allegedly too "weak" to support his upper body. This was mentioned ad naseum.

I distinctly remember Boston refusing to work out with the team. Only after much prodding did Wannstedt get Boston to compromise on something. And i was mistaken, Sullivan came here first, you were right. But i remember we thought that by reuniting him with Sullivan, we could turn him back into a star.

Obviously the injury prevented that. But come on, how can we act like all the comments and thoughts about him last year didn't happen? i remember the threads of disgust about Boston's airport assault. The multiple pages of discussions about his using illegal substances. you don't remember these? maybe i just have a better memory than a lot of people on here.

What i said before i will stick to: Boston hasn't performed since 2001. He is four years removed from that great year. In the meantime he's been a problem child and injury-prone. Don't think he's been a problem child? ask Marty Schottenheimer. Don't think he's been injury prone? yeah, thats why he played 16 games in 2003, and not even 1 in 2004. /sarcasm

Like i said i haven't seen him play, other than this preseason. And while his catches have looked good, they haven't blown me away. I am awaiting to be "blown away" by this guy, while you and most others on this site are worshipping the shell of his former self that he may one day return to.

And yet the biggest thing you guys forget is our quarterback. You could take Randy Moss and put him on this team and he wouldn't break 1,000 yards receiving. You can't take 3 pro-bowl caliber WRs, and have all of them expect to reach 1,000 yards. in fact, on THIS team, ANY of them would be hard pressed to. You can give me the "Scott Linehan is our new coordinator" excuse all day, but after watching these two preseason games, and seeing the limited talent at QB he has to work with, we'd be insane to predict big things for our WRs, and especially the 3rd WR? Kyle Orton on the freaking BEARS has more yards passing than all 3 of our Qbs combined. I'd be happy if Chambers hits 1,000 yards, and i can see him hitting it this year, under Linehan's system. But to think Boston will see that or Booker? i think you are being overly optimistic.

So yeah, my T.O. glasses are off, but are your homer ones removed as well?

As opposed to your anti-bias? That's cute....

If you've never seen him play than you don't have much ground to speak on...........bro, his ankles might have been too "weak" to support 260 lbs maybe.........the weight he played while in SD. He never played at that weight in Miami. The man dropped a tremendous amount of weight, muscle weight, which is extremely dangerous to do in a short amount of time just so he'd meet the teams requirements.

I distinctly remember Boston refusing to work out with the team. Only after much prodding did Wannstedt get Boston to compromise on something. And i was mistaken, Sullivan came here first, you were right. But i remember we thought that by reuniting him with Sullivan, we could turn him back into a star.

He never refused to work out with the team. What on earth are you talking about???????? That ocurred in San Diego, when he had a tiff with the strength training coach about not showing up to the team's weight lifting sessions.

Illegal substances???????? He got caught nearly 5 years ago when he was a punk hotshot on the Cardinals with a little cocaine, of which he's not dabbled with since. The bodily enhancing substances you could also be referring to are not steroids, which I'm sure you're trying to allude to............ it was a chemical derived from placentas and is not banned by our government only the NFL.

As for his airport assault..........well what can I say, he had an argument with an employee working at one of the airport gates and got into a scuffle, one which not one person on this board knows what actually ocurred. I could care less. I've been in a fight or two in my lifetime. The hub-bub you are insinuating about threads made discussing the incident is simply exaggerated. There were a few, but they lasted one day.......And those who did discuss it were the same people who fly off the handle over every little thing about the Dolphins..........the doomsdayer's, gotta love'em!

Ask Marty what??????? He's not our coach!!!!!!!! And that was over 2 years ago!!!!! The only problem he's caused on a team that you have on him is his disagreement about not weight lifting with the team........the Chargers team!!!!! lol..........that's it......... He's done nothing but follow all the guidelines set forth by not only Saban and his regime, but back when Wanny was our coach as well. He lost weight, trains with the team, does what he's told. Man Nick Saban has been talking all along about how good he's been since he's been back from injury and Boston's even gone on record talking about all the ways in which his life has drastically changed and how he's out to prove himself. Man I'll take that over a man like Ricky Williams who gives us his metaphysical excuses for why he can't tell us if he's out to prove the doubters wrong. And what's this crap about injury prone??? What's that got to do with our discussion of whether he's another T.O. or not............ nice try trying to sidetrack there guy.

Again, what does this last paragraph of yours have anything to do with the discussion of whether Boston was another T.O.??? You're getting way off track fella. But if you wanna put it the way you did, if Marty Booker can amass 1,000 yard seasons with the rotating QB's he had with the Bears, than it's possible a man like David Boston can do it with ours. But I could care less if he does. I just want him contributing in the huge ways he's capable of. May I remind you Boston put up 880 yards in 14 games in his lone season in SD..........Our boy Chambers only does that in 16 games.

The point is David Boston has never carried out a war with a team through the media the way Terrell Owens has. That is a true distraction. Football teams are just like families. They're never always perfect.......there's plenty of internal issues handled internally and yes David Boston has been a part of one or two. However, his incidents don't even compare to how monumental this Owens situation has become in the perspective of relationships between players and management, specifically over contract squabbles. David Boston has never carried out a one-sided fued with his QB's .........which T.O. seems to have a knack for these days with guys like Jeff Garcia and Donovan McNabb. Boston's main distraction was his body.......... and his weightlifting issues............of which will never destroy a team's chemistry.........
