Brown Stiff???

Sorry punk but you've got it backward --- YOU need to grow up and perhaps heed some of your OWN advice. I post a question and you snap back like a smart arse but you’re obviously a dumb dick without a freakin' clue. That's IGNORENCE in my world, and if the word fits wear around your inflated head.

Obviously you think you're big crap around here by telling me to go post somewhere else --- but your just a PUNK lacking the intelligence to actually read and comprehend a question of FIRST HAND knowledge which allows an opinion to actually be formed! But I guess that’s standard issue in your world (ignorance that is).

F***k off and go post your stupidity in someone else’s thread.

NO NO NO...YOU THE PUNK!!!

Do you need to post bigger to compensate for something???

I was posting in a bigger font to mock your posting in large font..... the real question is therefore, do you?

Seriously, what's with all these "Johnny come lately" people who come on here guns-a-blazin', calling all the regulars on here "stupid" and "ignorant??"

exile, you keep up that kind of talk, you won't be around here for long. This isn't the ESPN boards.

Hopefully the only thing that is "stiff" when RB is running the ball is the bulge in the pants of dolfans when he's breaking a 60 yd. run! :roflmao:

Whoa, too much info.

hey everyone...i just realized what's going on here...first look at his member name..."inExile" then he wants all of us to know about Brown "big stiff"...all of a sudden...Ricky's agent stated that Ricky will be in camp in July...put all this together...

who is this poster...

Ricky...that's why he wants to come back so bad now...I'm sure he'll show up in camp with his wedding dress on...and he'll be ready to block for Brown...actually he'll be ready to fetch water for Brown...

Go Fins!!!

What is this crap? Saban has my faith and he picked Brown. Until he's proven wrong, that's it.

makes attempt to get back on topic...ready go

ronnie running erect means that he isnt flashy, he is a downhill runner, which IMO is better, all those damn dancing RBs always piss me off, because instead of going for those 4 yards, they try to dance around to get 20, 9 times out of 10 they get smashed, the 1 time they succeed makes sportscenter so everyoen thinks they are good.

I watched most of the auburn games this year, and i thought RB was better then caddy, and always wondered why he wasnt starting, but when watching those games RB and caddy were on the field about the same amount of time, big difference was the versatility of RB, he would be the split back, the H back(is that right?), and would also go out wide, which is why he was drafted ahead of caddy, he was more of a complete back...

once caddy and RB mature i see stats like this

RB 1300 rushing yards, 5.0 YPC 600 receiving

caddy 1500 rushing 4.0 YPC 300 receiving

so they really balance themselves out :)

Alright... Now to get back to the topic of this thread...

Being a RB that isnt extremely shifty isnt a "big concern". It is just a different style of running. I would list off all of the not so shifty runners that have been extremely sucessful throughout their cariers, but it seems like everyone else beat me to it. The kinds of RBs that arnt shifty must be big and fast (Jamal Lewis). That is what Ronnie is. And the kinds of RBs that arnt big must be really shifty (Barry Sanders). Ronnie isnt going to be a guy that jukes the defenders and goes around them... he goes through them! Thats how that kind of style works. Now if Ronnie was smaller, I would then be worried about his shiftyness, but he is 6'0" 235... BEFORE the NFL has even got a hold of him to bulk him up even more. He will definatly be playin around 240-245 this season while still running at 4.4 speed. That is huge and fast! Thats all he needs. Not to mention his ability to catch and block. Dont worry about his shiftyness... he will be fine

Nasty

I'm glad that we arent like the ESPN boards...this is why when people sign up to post here, many stay. Some people have criticized the main forum for its subject matter, but regardless of how it's been recently to some of the other places to talk about dolphins football out there...the difference is night and day. I try to talk about the Miami heat on their official forum...its just immature BS over there half the time...you cant maintain a simple conversation....

But to get back on topic. The comment was addressed perfectly by other members of the board. Many big runners have had that "stiff" moniker attached to them, but when they get under the direction of pro coaches and pro trainers....they either lose that name or learn how to play a different style and do well...thats why Eddie didnt remain a stiff upright runner (and if you believe he did, he had a heckuva career until injuries began to take their toll)
