Life is what we make it.
Knew it was coming but not happy to see it....
I really think more is made of that deal than is warranted. Guy was 38 years old on a 1-year deal, played hard while he was here. Had the Fins truly fallen out of contention what difference would it have made letting him go ring seeking?
Do we ever seem to have a plan?Good for Calais. Wish him well.
Dolphins clearly did NOT have a plan at DT this free agency period. If they’re going to bank on a rookie or two there, then that says all.
It’s really something that all we’ve done there is re-sign a below average player in Benito Jones.
Embarrassing for the Dolphins. Cardinals are not contending for anything. He was here and Miami was his hometown. Well respected. Not a good look for the organization that he didn't want to stay here in his hometown. DL remains a huge need. This one stings on more than one level:
TrueGood for him, we are going to suck anyways with or without him. When your best player on defense is a 40 yr old DT, you got problems as an organization.
Why couldn’t Miami finish 32nd? Someone will. We tend to be very good at ranking near bottom of the league in most categories. If you seriously think that Calais Campbell signing elsewhere means Miami will give up an NFL record in rushing yards, you should reconsider ever making another thread.
You have to remember that NFL coaches and GM’s are very very wise people. Very few people on the planet can do what they do. The fact no one can ever see the plan is actually part of the plan.Do we ever seem to have a plan?
Don't worry I have been told TBD is starting at all those positions and he is a stud. And we have Grier drafting he always lands starters in the mid rounds, oh wait my bad he actually never does. They do not have a starting caliber player at CB, S, DT, and OG. I’m not talking about getting good players. I’m talking about average NFL level. It’s pathetic.
So Arizona is the destination to not do similar ****?Good for him. He deserves better than wasting his last season on our 7 win team. Glad he isn't bailing out Grier's dumb decisions.
I don’t think it’s going to be 13 or 48.
98, 115, 135, 150, 155.
All of our needs are 2nd round positions, IMO. While it’s always tempting to use a higher draft pick, with this class they should be looking at quantity.
If they don’t make a first round pick, without knowing what we got in return, I’d be happy. And not just because I’ll be boarding a flight in Clearwater at 7 p.m. on the Thursday the 24th.
