Trying to be optimistic about the situation here, but I really think now is where Ginn and Bess will succeed. Ginn will be the definite go to guy for the rest of the season, and it will be time for some redemption. Bess will continue to improve, and correct me if I am wrong he will be playing #2 reciever. Pretty good for an undrafted rookie. However, this is time for both of them to prove to the FO that they are reliable recievers and I think they will.

C'mon the coaches won't really put Ernest in, so this is what we got. I honestly think Ginn is going to be the next stud reciever, just as good as Chambers at the minimum. I also think Bess will go far, each farther then Camarillo will.

Just trying to brighten up some saddened Fins fans day with a lil optimisim.

I want to see how much we utilize London now. Unfortunately, this may force us to run the ball more and we can't run block for ****. Our bread and butter is in the pass

Can either of those receivers run block. Having tiny wide receivers makes running outside the tackles almost impossible.

dont forget fasano...hes going to have to step it up now and become a factor once again in the passing game

yeah, wtf happened to him yesterday. I dont even remember seeing him on the field

i remember fasano had a key reception at one point in the game

this is not a blessing in anyway. Cam was playing damn good and we have no depth at wr. maybe we should have signed mark Bradly who seems to be doing fairly well.

To answer is this a blessing in disguise
No.
It may make Ginn, Bess and London step up but Cam's carrear could be over. A speedy little guy with what seems to be a torn up knee. Thats at least a year to come back from surgury. Then who knows how long until he is making the cuts that are essential to his game. I so happy the guy is at least getting paid now.

no injury is a blessing especially when he happens to one of your better players.
it's gut-check time. people need to step up and deliver.

it couldnt have been fasano, he isnt listed as having a catch anywhere

I saw him drop a pass sometime during the game, or atleast have a pass deflected in front of him. He definitly was in there at some point.

Thanks for this post!

Camarillo was a good wide for us, but as you say a true blessing in disguise. We most likely wont make the playoffs, but now is a time for others to step up. Ginn will be going against the top corner on every team, which will benefit him in the future. Bess could come in and become the next big thing. He made some great catches sunday against a very good team. This calls for Fasano to catch once again.

But the more of blessing this situation brings is that we are forced to run the ball. I have been real dissapointed with the way we have been dropping the run game in every game. Give Ronnie his touches and he can win you a game by himself, trust me I have seen it. We need to get back to Dolphin football, and that is running the ball effectively and winning time of possession. We dont have to rely on the defense at that point.

Camarillo will be back. No way can you look at it as a "blessing in disguise". I think Ginn and Bess have both proven to be solid go to guys. I personally didn't need "the dream killer" going down to realize it.

My point exactly. If our WRs that everybody has been busting on can step it up and show they can play, this will save us draft picks. This will save us money in FA. This could make us forget about Wilford. If Ginn and Bess played as well as they did against NE, we have 3 receivers worthy of a #2 spot in the depth chart. That is good IMO.
