Camarillo's Injury, a Blessing In Disguise?

I would never say a blessing in disguise due to an injury, becuase it really isn't a blessing.

I would call it a new opportunity, as in when one door closes another door opens.

The only person I'm interested in seeing get more playing time is London!!! This guy plays with so much heart that its amazing... he hypes up the crowd and he seems like a team leader. He has all the attributes to be a great WR like plaxico and anquan... he just needs to mature and develop his hands... I hope London gets some more looks... My vote is for LONDON in 09 lol

I would be very surprised if Camarillo doesn't return to full strength after this. He got by on smarts and not athletic ability for the most part anyway.

He is a mentally tough, scrappy guy. He will be back.

It's definitely not a blessing because our WR crops is very thin and it's not like we have incredibly talented guys waiting in the wings; we have Earnest Wilford. Worse, this is the type of injury that can ruin a career, not just a season.

There is no positive light from this injury. It sounds like Camarillo tore ligaments in his knee. That is never a good thing for a WR. Ronnie hurt his knee in October and there were questions if he would be ready for the start of the season. Camarillo probably won't be ready for TC, and there is probably a good chance he will be put on PUP to start the 09' season.

Even when he does come back, there is no guarantee he will ever be the same player.

this is not a blessing in anyway. Cam was playing damn good and we have no depth at wr. maybe we should have signed mark Bradly who seems to be doing fairly well.

Do we really know this? At the beginning of the year we thought WR was the weak spot of this team (along with the secondary). It turns out Ginn, Camarillo, and Bess were all decent options. Who saw that coming?

Maybe we'll be lucky and Wilford will surprise us....

Trying to be optimistic about the situation here, but I really think now is where Ginn and Bess will succeed. Ginn will be the definite go to guy for the rest of the season, and it will be time for some redemption. Bess will continue to improve, and correct me if I am wrong he will be playing #2 reciever. Pretty good for an undrafted rookie. However, this is time for both of them to prove to the FO that they are reliable recievers and I think they will.

C'mon the coaches won't really put Ernest in, so this is what we got. I honestly think Ginn is going to be the next stud reciever, just as good as Chambers at the minimum. I also think Bess will go far, each farther then Camarillo will.

Just trying to brighten up some saddened Fins fans day with a lil optimisim.

I've been saying Bess is foreal...I hope he has a long career with us..if not I'm sure Pats will snatch him up

I still dont see Wr as a strength and now with Cam hurt it wont get better. We still only have 4 tds receiving from our whole wr core. I will say Cam was a good suprise, Ginn I still see as having alot of work to do and do not see him as that player that teams fear. As for get lucky, you do realize Wilford was signed to start and so far has been inactive almost every game. He has 1 catch this year. good luck on getting lucky.

It's very possible that with the extra position up for grabs we could end up finding either a potential starter, role player, or even trade bait.

This would be sick to consider a blessing; in respect of your comments I must say that we are short of one of the best players in this team. None of our other receivers play have warranted any merits that would indicate any future performance other than Bess. Devone is still learning the position and if he is out then we are going to end up digging for practice squad talent such as London.

He's LUCKY he just signed that new contract
