Can we get Seattle's OC?

please chase old posts, that's ok. The plan was never to be a pass heavy team, we became one out of circumstances.

while you are looking up old posts find yours where you said all this stuff before the season started.

I am feeding you reality, you refuse to listen so you deflect w/ snarky comments. It's ok, I understand. The guy who told me Mason played 2 years for us when he barely played a month is telling me what the Jets were trying to do that year. Unbelievable.

Mulligan played a lot in 2011 by the way in 2 TE sets and I'd bet we ran more 3 WR sets in 2010 than 2011.

You're feeding opinion, just like you always do. At least Shouright has the decency to disguise BS with hand-picked stats.

"The plan was never to be a pass-heavy team," yet "Sanchez won 3 road playoff games" blah blah blah.

Sanchez didn't win those games. An awesome defense and stout running game did. Ryan handled that PERFECTLY.

Mark Sanchez was asked to be a game manager. He is, at best, a poor man's Trent Dilfer.

I say this because Trent Dilfer actually got the job done by getting to a Championship game (you know...a Super Bowl) and helped the Ravens win it as a game manager.

The league has changed drastically. It no longer plays to a game manager's strengths.

At least you still enjoy good football. I sometimes wonder if some posters only watch the dolphins.
Seattle looks great.

You can say they got lucky with Wilson, but they did research and select him so they get credit for the pick.

They paid Flynn, they did research and paid him 7 million and the Fins said no and there were alot of people very pissed

here's a gem i found from you on november 24th 2011...

"Yes, our "great" D which just blew another game the other night and has blown many games the last 3 years including 2 titlew games. Our D is GOOD, it's far from great and it's certainly not good enough to carry a bad QB."

well well well even out of the horses mouth the qb is bad..so which is it??? i thought sanchez was good???

and another same day 2 hours later..."Top tier? no, he's an average guy who becomes very good in January. Give me that any day over some perceived top guys that melt in January pressure"

oh so now he's average and not bad i guess...way to be consistent

and the next morning after you slept on it..." Mark has regressed and is playing below average right now."

followed by "It's not all his fault, the OL is the #1 culprit."

and then this one which is hypocritical when it comes to tannehill as they come..."I realize it's not all on mark. It's hard to succeed w/ poor OL play and no running game."

ha ha...this threads so good i'm posting the link to it... http://www.finheaven.com/showthread.php?309722-Ahhh-what-the-hell-Matt-Moore-gt-Mark-Sanchez

and here's posts from me in that exact same thread that very day...

"i'm sorry but mark sanchez is not getting better...the last 2 years he had a damn good running game to hide his weaknesses this year that hasn't been the case...his accuracy has always been hit or miss he misses way too many easy throws...honestly the only balls i can say with confidence he throws with any consistency are the quick slants (of which he's one of the best in the league) and the in breaking routes...i guess he throws a pretty high end corner endzone fade also but my god is his accuracy scattershot on everything else...

with the way the jets can't run the ball this year i am baffled why the opposition doesn't drop a lb in the inside throwing lane on those 3 step drop slant routes etc...i swear sanchez will throw the ball right to him if they did...

new yorks figuring out what we had to regarding chad henne and that is that they also still don't have the answer at qb...i don't see how this year they can win with sanchez under center in the postseason unless that running game makes a giant unforeseen leap the next 6 weeks...thats just the reality of it...and watching the game against the broncos you can see that the jets staff have no faith in sanchez to make a play at certain times...they are dummying down the playbook to try and play to his strengths...but without the running game it won't matter"

"junc...until that running game returns you aren't winning against a quality opponent in the postseason with mark sanchez your qb...you can hide him with a very high end running game but if thats not there you're in big trouble against quality opponents...thats the difference b/t the last 2 postseasons for you and this upcoming one...no running game no dice

i've been waiting for 2 years for this kid to take the leap...he's not a guy who can win you games by himself...he's not showing franchise material either...you can call it a funk...i've seen him 5 or so games this year and i always come away with the same end result...minus a high end running game he's just not consistent enough...

the lack of a running game is killing your season...and it will be the reason you go home early if you make the postseason...too much weight on sanchez shoulders is not a good thing...ever

and i'm the guy who put a grand on the jets in vegas...never saw this run game drop off coming...and a lot of that change in identity falls on your coaching staff who came out early at least trying to be a sling it all over the field team with a qb who can't cut the mustard for that kind of game"

" if you wanna put yourself in the best position to win with mark sanchez go back to ground and pound and work him off of play action...of course thats gonna leave you with some ticked off wrs in the lockerroom plax and holmes but thats what you got to do...

but i'm not a guy who thinks you can find a running game 11 weeks into the season...you either have it or you don't by now...to me i don't see how it will change this year...i expect a lot of 3rd and longs in new yorks future especially against a quality defense

which means more of mark sanchez being exposed"

and all you did was try and bs me like you are trying to do on here today...

I was impressed by Seattle's Defensive scheme & the execution. Just having the 4 DL rush then a 4 under/3 deep zone was impressive.

If the phins could mirror the Seahawks D & Redskins O (Gibbs's 1st tenure); I would die a happy man as Miami would finally raise the Lombardi Trophy... a few times.

p.s. Would you believe Dan Henning was the OC for the Redskins back then?

:lol2: Seriously, get off the crack.

name me 10 better QBs in the 2010 season?

Trent was a very underrated QB.

Sanchez won 4 road playoff games not 3 and no the plan was not to air it out every week in 2011.

alright junc here's a little taste from sept 12th 2011...not before the season but just after week 1...

http://www.finheaven.com/showthread.php?304943-After-watching/page15

keep in mind this was the first game after 2 years straight of the running game and defense carrying sanchez and the jets...

what i am finding out though is i have way too many posts doing this search

you linked to a thread not a specific post. what is the point?

reading your point after watching that game you were way off, we couldn't run and Mark was accurate that night and we won despite no run game.

here's a gem i found from you on november 24th 2011...

You don't even know what you are posting, that was in reference to saying they carried Mark. I didn't say mark was bad, try reading slower.

your point on the next quote is? where did I ever say he was great or would be great?

and the next morning after you slept on it..." Mark has regressed and is playing below average right now."

followed by "It's not all his fault, the OL is the #1 culprit."

what does one have to do w/ the other? Mark did regress in 2011 even though his #s were better. If he was playing for Miami this board would have exploded telling me how much better he was but he was nowhere neara s good in 2011 as he was in 2010.

What is your point? how have I ever changed?

here come the know nothings to pat hoos on the back for proving absolutely nothing other than he struggles w/ reading comprehension.

Earth shattering stuff! what is your point? show me where I have ever said he would be a great QB? I never said his ceiling was elite, did I? it's nice to bring up these old posts but they show absolutely nothing.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr

Total QBR, Sanchez was 17th in 2010. That puts 16 ahead of him.

By year for Sanchez:

2009 - 23rd
2010 - 17th
2011- 27th
2012 - 36th

Oh the irony:

Geno Smith - 36th

The numbers match my assessment exactly. Below average QB that was riding the bus in 2009 and 2010. Given more responsibility and regressed in 2011. Imploded in 2012.

i'm surprised you came back in this thread junc...people should know when they are conquered

you declared multiple times on TGG that you would not trade 2 first rounders for him, that there were maybe 5 QBs in the league you'd trade for him and have as recently as the draft criticized the Geno pick for a lot of reasons, but one you cited specifically was that the team needed other things and already had their "franchise QB" If you wanna get into semantics you may or may not have called the Buttboy "elite" but surely if you considered 2 first round picks for him not enough, that there were only 5 top QBs in the league you'd consider trading him for , and labeling him your "franchise QB" it's the same damn thing!
