if it is any consulation,,,I wish we would have listened to you. I think Frye is going to be a good qb.

well we woulve had our qb in place but nyphinfan makes a good point. we wouldve had to run a different type of offensive scheme, more of a horizontal passing game as opposed to a vertical one. frye is in a good situation in cleveland and should do well. i think saban is looking for more arm strength in a qb and someone like cutler probably fits the bill better. guess we'll have to wait and see who he brings in. hope its a winner:evil:

Being a Purdue guy I wanted Drew Brees. Anybody that put up 12k yardage in college was a sure fire thing right? Jury is still out but I would take him.

Seriously though......people around here get nuts over these players who will likely NEVER be Dolphins. They put them in their avatars, sigs.....I wouldn't be surprised if half of them have #6 Jay Cutler Dolphin jerseys hanging in their closets (right next to their 2 year old #17 Phillip Rivers jersey). :wink:

Besides those two another one that comes to mind was the selection of Carey plus giving up a 4th round pick instead of drafting Vince Wilfork straight up.who IMO was the BAP at that time.

We may have to pay for that mistake by drafting a NT in this draft.

During the previous regime the only pick that I liked and was actually picked was Will Pòole in the third.It was not a popular choice among fans given that we had Surtain and Madison but he was the the BPA and it looks very good right now.

I'll be honest. I wanted Vernon Carey...but I didn't agree with trading up to get him. I figured we'd grab Wilfork if he was gone. Oh well. I was also a big fan of Brees. I wanted that one so badly. I'm not even a Purdue fan, but he had the skills I like. I want Cutler this year. If he doesn't fall to us, I say trade down & try to get Croyle in the 2nd.

I'll play. Before the 2005 draft I was "screaming" for:

1) RB Brown
2) LB Odell Thurman
3) QB Andrew Walter...picked ahead of us in 3rd
4) WR PK Sam...ouch!
5) DB Brandon Browner...double ouch! Went undrafted.
7) OG Chris Kemoueatu in the 7th...picked ahead of us in 6th

Not good at all. Only 1rst & 2nd good picks with 2 bad picks and 2 didn't judge value correctly and we didn't get a shot at picking. Free agents are harder to remember from the ones already stated. Maybe Browner (at least by me:D ) when he wasn't drafted.

(I thought more like Yatil Green of Miami Childrens Hospital:rolleyes2 ).. as he topped me off and my tank was full, i flipped him a tip.. a shiny quarter alternated sides as the sun glisten off both sides as it flew his way.. he tracked it in air and went for the grab, then blam.. he blew both his knees....yes AGAIN.. i got in my car and got the hell out of there....what a loser pick....TRUE STORY
