ESPN just showed a graphic and Henne was 9th on the list with a total QBR of 62.9

The problem is not the QB, that number would be even better if our ALL PRO receiver could hold on to the damn ball!

I saw one with his QBR is the red zone and it was terrible. Chad is very good between the 20's.
And yes Brandon has a lot to do with it.

That's a sure way to invalidate a newer stat. Henne throws a pick in 4 attempts and moves up in the rankings. His bananas rushing numbers are spiking up his rating. Henne is currently ahead of Vick, Stafford, Ryan, and Rivers. Not exactly a clear view of reality.

24. 13. 16. 16.

Those have been our scores this season. Thats a problem. I dont particularly care about a rating system that was made by Trent Dilfer and is scored by what he and his fellow "experts" consider is a clutch throw or who is at fault for a certain sack. Sorry, "unbiased" and "espn" just dont go together.

And if we had a franchise quarterback who could consistently convert third downs and score in the redzone, Brandon Marshall dropping a pass or two wouldn't be a game breaking mistake. As it is now, if a player makes a mistake during the game we might as well head to the lockerroom.

While I agree Henne strength is not in the red zone, he has vastly improved and the guy should be given a break considering he is putting up good numbers, behind a poor O'line and being backed up by, what so far has been a terrible D.

If Marshall had caught 1/2 and u take away the INT he threw up at end of game, his numbers would be superb. Based on last years D, we would all be applauding him.

Once again, the QB is not the issue on this team. The suck for Luck wagon is funny. I would love to have the kid, but if anyone thinks we win with him or any other QB with the surrounding cast playing they way they have, they are blind! There isn't much a QB can do for a defense that can't get off the field or gives up big plays, no running game, DB's that can't cover their bed, a safety and a "star receiver" that can't catch a cold, and an O-Line that has more holes than a golf course.

We only have to look back to 2008 to see how far a very good QB can take a talent starved team. A great QB can make teams look in much better shape than they are. We only have to look back a couple hours to the Colts game to see an example of that.

Look, bottom line is ots tome for a change...there's only 3 for sure players coming back after the new change. For those of you still clamouring about B. Marsh, look you catch some you drop some....get over it. He'd still be a top 5 Wr with a new team, just like he's a top 5 Wr here. The teams in turmoil, and getting rid of your best players just because your frustrated is literally the worst thing you could do.

Tell that to Dan Marino, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, etc.

As for the OP, the new total QBR is a piece of crap. I've seen enough with my own 2 eyes to know that stat is a piece of crap. Chad Henne is not the 9th best QB in the league, nor has he been playing like the 9th best QB in the league. We can't score, a good QB leads teams to points no matter that circumstance. We kick FG's instead of TD's in the redzone, which wouldn't be the case with a good QB. We're one of the worst teams on 3rd downs, because Henne is one of the worst QB's on 3rd downs. And Henne is one of the worst QB's in the league in the 4th quarter.

So, tell us why your opinion and analysis more accurate than the professionals at ESPN and former NFL players?

Damn, you guys are never happy. Complain, complain, complain. Everything sucks. Blah, blah blah. Oregon, assisted suicide is legal. End the pain.

Well darn! We should definitly skip on drafting Luck then, if we get the chance! ...
