Chad Henne top 10 in total QBR

Don't you get it? It's all about "it". Henne doesn't have "it". Luck clearly has "it".

And the thing about "it", you can't really acquire it. You're born with it. And you can't have a little "it". I mean, either you have "it", or you don't. Unless you're Brees, of course. Or Brady. Or Elway. Or... or...

What was my point again?

Oh yeah. Screw numbers. Henne doesn't have "it", I don't care what your ****amamie newfangled stats say. Suck for Luck rulezzzz!!!1!!111!one

You don't get "it" look back at the Browns game.. 20yds to get in range at max to win with a super spinwheel fist pumparooni field goal and Henne hits a Brown right in the numbers. That kind of shhhh "it" is not what we need.

Well then obviously the new QBR system is a bunch of garbage.

Clearly this new QBR number needs some adjustment...

The factors hurting us are two fold. The team doesn't believe in the coaching and are unmotivated and when great qbs make plays Henne can't do it. New QB and new coach and this team is good. We have lots of talent just no motivation. I really don't want guys who aren't motivated on their own to be the best which is what scary about this team.

Chad Henne thru 4 games... 4 TD's 4 Ints 868 yds RTG 79 0 Wins

Unnamed Real NFL Starter thru 4 games... 13 TD's 5 Ints 1553 yds RTG 111 3 Wins

Too funny.

So because advanced stats say Henne doesn't suck, these stats are worthless?

Life must be frustrating when you've already made up your mind and you end up wrong...

For being the guy who tries and preach logic you are showing your true colors. How is this total QBR any way advanced? Because some quacks at ESPN say so?

Ryan Leaf had it,David Carr had it, Tim Couch had it, Jeff George had it, Alex Smith had it, Carson Palmer had it.....Oh wait a sec.

Can't fix stupid. Not one of those QB's were the prospect Andrew Luck is. Not all QB's drafted 1st overall are created equal.

Really, a guy who didn't win a SB because he didn't have a running game ever and arguably the best receiving duo to play together, Brady ( I seem to remember the Pats winning 11 games without him), Manning who has had Harrison, Wayne, and Clark to throw to, and Brees who has 3 running backs that could be starters on any team, Colston and a great O-line...ya, they did it all themselves. It takes a team to win and this TEAM sucks and it has not been the QB's fault.

Dan Marino had no running game and one of the worst defensives every year. Yet we competed for Superbowls every year. Chad Henne in a similar situation is about to lead us to a top 5 pick and his replacement. Tom Brady has had awful defenses for awhile now, and yet still a 16-0 and 14-2 season. Peyton Manning had no defense, yet his team was great every year, and won a Superbowl. Drew Brees had no defense, yet his team won the Superbowl. Unless you consider a TE and a couple WR's a whole team and completely disregard defense... But you just keep living in the 1960s where you didn't need a QB to win if it makes you sleep at night.

I saw one with his QBR is the red zone and it was terrible. Chad is very good between the 20's.
And yes Brandon has a lot to do with it.

same can be said for brandon for sucking in red zone. it goes hand in hand sometimes.

Well that settles it then give the man an extension and Peyton Manning money! Superbowl here we come!

Once again, the QB is not the issue on this team. The suck for Luck wagon is funny. I would love to have the kid, but if anyone thinks we win with him or any other QB with the surrounding cast playing they way they have, they are blind! There isn't much a QB can do for a defense that can't get off the field or gives up big plays, no running game, DB's that can't cover their bed, a safety and a "star receiver" that can't catch a cold, and an O-Line that has more holes than a golf course.

There are positions much worse in dire need of improvement than QB but that doesn't justify keeping Henne around if we want the most of our QB. The issue on this team is obviously that there are positions that are not as good as advertised by the fans. Our defense for example has 6 questionable positions out of our 11 men. That is about half of the players not being great. The problem is not much with offense but our offensive line has 2 good players only, and the rest show flashes every once in a while but are considered failures for not playing that way all the time.

LMAO....really? So you think Penny was why we won in 2008? Bahhaaaaa at 21 points a game. Dude the Wildcat had to be created because Penny couldn't do crap. We won against sub par teams with a gimmick offense and the best fourth quarter D in the league period. All Penny had to do was not turn the ball over. The current QBs don't have that luxury. Once the Wildcat was gone and our D was not playing as well, you saw what happened to Penny. 0-4 in his last 4 games, 2 Tds, 6 ints, 9 sacks, and 4 fumbles and a QB rating in the 40's....ya good point though.

Look you can take your argument about Pennington to your grave (since you post it everytime his name is brought up) that's fine with me but how can you think in your right mind we are better off with Henne. If Henne was our QB in 2008 there is no doubt in my mind that the Jets or Pats win the AFC East. We had the least amount of turnovers in the NFL that year, mostly due to the play of our QB. Had Henne played we almost definetly would have had a lot more turnovers and would have lost more games. Also your argument that Penney can only beat the bad teams sucks as well because you fail to notice, Henne can't even do that much. Maybe not today, but since then Henne has played with an all around better teams than penney ever did and we still lose when it matters most. Did Penney ever have a top 10 defense? He even made a decent WR out of Tedd Ginn at times. Look I know Chad Pennington is not a superstar, who doesn't, but the lack of respect he gets from Dolphins fans is mind boggling. All of the Jets teams he took to the playoffs and the 2008 Fins were not by any means Super talented teams. If Pennington ever played for a Super talented team there's no doubt in my mind he could win.

Chad Henne over Chad Pennington, please just stop.

You fix that stuff after obtaining a franchise QB, not before. A decade has proven that.
