Chilling Article from Salguero about the Incognito Golf Incident

Hmm let's see. Ocho got charged and cog did not. The lady took the money. Ppl keep ignoring that.

Yes, and maybe he sees grinding on somebody as a joke to be a little less serious than beating on your wife. I won't believe the golf club sexual assault aspect of this until I see more evidence, like I said it doesn't make sense that all she would want is a simple apology for something that serious.

plus incognito was a veteran starter on the team, whereas ocho was a street free agent we took a flier on. who knows if he gets to the 53 man roster anyway. when you are solidly entrenched it is less likely you get cut than if you are hanging by the thinnest of threads.

Oh I believe the story is mostly true. I just think there's more to it than how it is currently being spun. And the main reason for that is because the lady took hush money.

One person's 'hush' money is another persons 'settlement' money. I don't see much of a difference and reaching a settlement doesn't destroy anyone's credibility. If anything, it usually means the incident is indeed true enough that the party that is being accused of wrong doing wants no part of a larger litigation which could incur more astronomical fines etc. and wants an out as quickly as possible to avoid further damage.

ie. The Dolphins know what happened, they might of spoken to witnesses themselves (or maybe even Cog admitted to it himself) and confirmed it and thus wanted to use their 'get out of jail free' card ASAP before it leaked.

I have very, very serious doubts that they would've paid any attention to it had there not been some merit to the allegations.

Interesting article, and if Armando's speculation is correct () the Dolphins are in a world of trouble. However, at this point that's all it is: speculation. By a guy 90% of this board thinks is a moron. So I'll reserve judgment on that for now.

As for the character of football players? Bryant McKinnie was involved in worse when he was with the Vikings. Koa Misi was involved in worse. Mike Pouncey is probably involved in worse. Jimmy Wilson was absolutely involved in much, much worse. Go through any NFL team and peer through the skeletons. Are there more or fewer on average? I honestly don't know.

What I do know is that if you are super outraged about the character of men on this football team, I highly suggest you show up to the next Fireland demonstration outside the Dolphins training facility.

Was that the one with the video where there were like 8 people?
