Chip Kelly: Lazor will succeed in Miami

i would agree that i think teams will catch up with some of what kelly is running but that tempo is what i think will make it last more in the nfl...there's nothing gimmicky about that tempo...

if there's one thing i hope lazor learned there it's get after people with tempo

nick foles wishes he was as talented as ryan tannehill...foles is the definition of product of the system qb...must be nice for foles to have the use of the best oline in football...to prop him up

Every fan who wants to criticize Tannehill, our WRs and RBs needs to print this and staple it to their wall then read it every day.

We have talent on offense. But they can't do their job and the OLine's too. Fix the OLine people. We're not done yet. And I'm not comfortable with 2 rookies on the right side or anyone over there that is unproven trying to do their job and help a rookie.

I don't know if Philbin got the message, but most D Coordinators move their DE's around and tend to attack the weakest link. I want us to draft next years RG and RT now, but I only want one starting now. In my mind, I want a guy who can beat out Brenner for the RG spot. That's how good I want our starters and depth to be.

It makes no sense to pay all this money to WRs with a large looming QB contract hanging over our heads and NOT give us a chance to see what they can really do. It's as smart as depending on J. Martin to anchor the OL.

I'm 46 years old and have seen lots of offensive schemes come and go. They all say
"Yes but"...."But"...."And if you look closer"...

Give it three years and lets see about his system.

I can tell you being in Oregon that his "SYSTEM" is for real. He has been using it for years already. I takes it toll on the DEF by the 3rd quarter big time. So much so that Saban complained about his tempo in the game and wanted some rule changes.

Oh really? Wow?!

Eating pizza at a strip club while watching the game can take a toll on me by the 3rd quarter. And all the girls call me "Big Time", that I can tell ya.

I embellished the part about the pizza.

I would like to see if Lazor will use the Hi-Lo stuff and Packaged plays like Kelly uses.

I've followed the Oregon Ducks for years and I can tell you I believe Chip Kelly is the next Guru of the NFL. He'll prove it and other teams will follow.. It's a copy cat league. 1.Heavy Defense 2. killer run game. 3. mobile QB. 4. High speed offense. In that order... I'm hoping Lazor brings it to Miami.. What's funny it's a college spread Offense with play makers on nitrous and with a kick ass Defense..

Kelly's systems is flexible, and that's because it's not predicated on getting a personnel advantage over the defense so you don't need a particular skill set from players. At New Hampshire his teams passed for records. At Oregon the Ducks ran the ball silly. All the same offense. How come? It's because the keys to the offense are motion pre-snap to create mismatches and speed between plays to force the defense into mistakes and wear them out.

Did anyone notice last season how often Riley Cooper was wide open? It sure isn't because he can't be covered.

I look forward to the high tempo stuff. Every successful offense has to run at least some of it well in the nfl today

thanks Chip... shaddup

I don't get your post at all. Are you saying that the opinion of the HC who brought an innovative offense to the NFL which immediately proved successful largely due to his young QB is to be minimized because he actually said something very specifically positive about one of his appointed coaches? Would you have preferred that Chip when asked about Lazar should have given a diplomatically equivocal response like "he's a good coach with good work habits?" Or some BS like that? Do you have an agenda that summons up too much cognitive dissonance if positive, reinforcing comments are made over our coaches or team instead of preferred ones where you can interpret negatives inferences from what isn't said? I dunno about you but the guy who knows Lazar pretty well making a very specific positive prediction while certainly not guaranteeing success, certainly is reassuring at this point based on the demonstrated credibility of that guy :idk:

Please elaborate as to why he should shut up. TIA

I don't think they'll have two rookies on the right side. What I think they may do is have a rookie RT and have Shelley Smith play RG. If they play another rookie, it'll be at LG, sandwiched between two legit veteran stars. I saw cut ups of Smith playing RG for the Rams, so this makes a ton of sense even though the talk is that he's better at LG.

He said she said bull****. Come get me when we win more than 7 games and consistently beat good teams including our rivals and enter the playoffs. Sorry for negative just getting tired of same stuff. Here's to hope.
