hmmmmm...to be honest i cant answer that. Lets just say then Moulds is in the Chambers league. (nearly) ;)

Chambers league? Chambers dosn't have a league, he has unfulfilled potential.

Isnt Chamber a free agent after this season??? He will be working extra hard to get some $$$ next season

It dawned on me as I looking at some of the aviators on this site and listening to some of the reports from training camp that C.C. is a Top Ten Reciever in this league.
Yes, I realize that his stats may not rank as high as the other top flight WR's positioned above him, which imo reflect the limitations at the Q.B. position that we've suffered under. However, if you catch a glimpse of a few of the catches he's made that have been posted on this site.......... man they speak for themselves. He has all the tools: body control, length, speed and good hands.
I really think that with marginal improvement at the O-line and Q.B. position, Chambers will excell this fall and take his rightful place as one of the best in the league.

Peace...............................................

I like Chambers, he has a ton of ability but you guys just blame the QB when it comes to his #s and great recivers can put up #s no matter who is QB. The bottom line is Chambers does not have a 1,000 yd season and as bad as you THINK Fiedler was nothing was as bad as the 1999 NY jets QB situation w/ Rick Mirer & ray Lucas starting(you remember ray don't you?) and yet keyshawn Jophnson still had almost 1,200 yards. Chambers has to take that next step regardless of who the QB is(in case you didn't notcie you haven't upgraded at QB yet) before he can be considered a top 10 WR.

chambers does drop the ball way too much, its the truth. The drops make our QBs lose confidence in him so they see everyone as equal while other teams QBs know eric moulds, keyshawn johnson, etc will catch it thus they are the "go to" WR.

The old system was half the problem, the old Q.B. was the other half ! This will be a monster season for C.C. I guarentee it !

He signed for 4 years @ 6 million per early in the off season !

The reason for the low rating on CC has been the ability of the top-notch corners to shut him out. Alot of times its' been the QB's fault. At others' its been CC's inability to get a some space.

I remember on one the pratice reports that Mcdaniels was all over CC, yet CC came up with the catch. A 4th round rookie should never be on top of CC and Surtain and other top-notch corners would have never let him get it. He wants to be top 10, that's what he has to work on.

REMEMBER THIS TROOPS

WHEN WE HAVE A KNUCKLEHEAD FOR A COACH >SEE DAVE WANNSTEDT NO WIDE RECEIVER IS GOING TO PUT UP PRO BOWL NUMBERS WITH THE RUN , RUN , AND PUNT FORMULA.

this year c.c should put up the #'s that will prove he is a top ten receiver.

chris chambers is the best wide reciever no one knows about thanks to our QB situations. hopefully this is the year he breaks 1,000 yards and goes to the pro bowl.

Bad route running and D regonition will hold him back from being top 10. He may make a pro bowl one day.....just not for a few more years ...has alot to learn as far as route running is concearned. Mkaes great catches but how many times do you see him get wide wide open on one on one coverage.....not often enough to be top 10.

Until he gets 1,000 yards receiving, I will say he isn't underrated, if anything maybe overrated.

I really like Chris and think he will blossom into something special, but it hasn't been QB play that has held him back.

He is just missing something that makes the greats great.

Since we havn't had a great 2nd receiver in a while I think Chambers numbers haven't been great because the opposition keys on him because the 2nd receiver hasn't been as good, and that will take away his production. Having Boston this year at 2nd(i hope) will open up room for Chambers to have 1000+ yds and 10+ td season, IMO

Chambers will have a huge year this year IMO. The few times Miami went deep to him these past few seasons, Chambers has had to adjust to the ball when it was underthrown usually. Our QB's this year have decent arm strength and with this pasing offense, Chambers will have plenty of chances to show what he is made up.

I'm excited to see what he can do!

What makes his progress so far so amazing is the offense that has been surrounding him...no OL to speak of, weak QBing, no RB last year, and a pretty good TE to throw the ball to as well...so he's going to show this year hopefully...
