I agree with his sentiment, but honestly, it didn't even look like they were having a conversation. Philbin was looking at the ground the majority of the time. When I'm having a talk with someone over something like that, I would prefer that they look into my eyes the majority of the time.
I like Philbin, and like the way he is running things for the most part, but that little conversation made me a bit uncomfortable because it didn't seem like he was in control of the situation.
I disagree with you Skape and I think that you need to go back and carefully watch that conversation again. Yes, he looked at the ground. He looked out at the practice field where the other players were engaged. He also looked at Chad. And once again, he clearly made Chad aware that there needed to be some changes made with his demeanor. This is on Chad. He had every opportunity to take advantage of the situation.
