It takes time to change a culture

This is the darned truth! I think that much of the Dolphins struggles the past decade or so have been due to a screwed up culture. Parcells and Pennington instilled some sense of accountability and lowered the tolerance for BS in 2008. Other than that, we have had a band of idiots for most of the time since Shula retired. No one could calmly take control and LEAD...they might have lobster traps, be in love with a draft pick's family, or scream and yell but no one led. Our teams have not been disciplined or cohesive in years. Talent is not our main problem, playing like a team is.

They'll get it changed around. his will go far in insuring that the mindset is right. Obviously, Dansby's post practice comments shows he fully understands where Philbin is coming from.

I like that fact that Philbin doesn't let ANYTHING linger. Takes care of business right away.

That's a bad article by Gregg Rosenthal. He implies that what Philbin said about Dansby in the press conference must be what he said to him on the sidelines even though Karlos Dansby directly refuted that in the very same field interview that Rosenthal cites.

From this point forward he can either get his **** together and play like he wants to earn his contract or he can get in line with the rest of the clowns on my list. The first two,(Garrard and Johnson) were urgent issues that needed taken care of. But, the word is out for the rest of the bums. Vontae... Dansby and anyone else who wants to get out of line can easily find themselves working with Chad Johnson again at his new job if they wish......


Philbin is the man. I hope these guys get a clue. This aint your Tony Sparano dolphins. Either get with the program or you can be OchoSies'd from the joint with the rest of the clowns.

No question. Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, including players, but they better learn to keep those kinds of things in house.

Karlos Dansby is just one of those nimrods that typically think they have more slack within an organization than they really do because their contract speaks loud. Welcome to the NFL.

Philbin needs to explain to every player on the roster and make it perfectly clear that it's already proven that the team can lose with 'em.... and he's not afraid to try to win without 'em.
