Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

I'll worry about the future in the future. I'm sick of waiting around building for tomorrow. Our window is wide open and we should be doing everything we can to win now. Right now. This season.

We'll figure everything else out when the time comes.
I dont think we're good enough with or without Taylor to win a Superbowl this year, I hate to say it, but I've seen this **** too many times with Grier. He doesn't care about the offensive line and it kills us. That's why I look at getting Taylor as a quick way of closing our window.

We need a better Oline to win a Superbowl, we will get shredded this year by teams with a good pass rush, just like we have for the last decade. It's a hard truth but I'm done living in fantasy land when talking about this franchise.

Well make the playoffs, if Tua stays healthy but as soon as we run into a great pass rush we're finished.

We need all our picks and every penny we can find to fix the Oline next offseason. If we do that we will have a chance at a ring in 24. If we blow all our money and waste our picks on Taylor it's 2023 and done.

Didn’t Skylar Thompson almost beat Buffalo, in Buffalo with that OL, with the drops from Waddle and with the dumb INTs?

But Tua and Taylor can’t get the job done huh?

If not for a cheap shot from Matt Milano we sweep Buffalo…..without Taylor.

We need players who can help beat Mahomes. Taylor does that by keeping the chains moving. Something the Eagles couldn’t do in the Super Bowl.

You think Tom Brady and his 3 int’s in the NFCCG get that title without all those 100+ yards rushing performances they got in 2020?

Taylor wasn't very good running behind the Colts average Oline last season, he was statistically worse than both Moestert and Wilson and our oline isn't any better than the Colts was last year.

How do you know he wasn't a product of the Colts good oline play in 2019-2021. Maybe Taylor was a byproduct of having a very good oline. Colts oline got worse and Taylor fell off a cliff.
Let's say Taylor was a product of a very good Colts OL. He was able to get 1800 yds behind a very good run blocking OL. Mostert behind a very good 49ers got max 772 yards.

Taylor playing on a terrible team with the corpse of Matt Ryan and no other offensive threatwhich means teams can focus primarily on stopping him had a pretty comparable year to Mostert. Do you think if Mostert played on the Colts and teams focused on stopping him if he was the best offensive player on the team he would be as successful as Taylor was?

Gotta disagree, I've been seeing tweets from that Neal dude for years. Most of it is just bs and rumors or things he wants to happen imo. He's not something I would consider a source personally
Hey Travis,
Thanks for info. I’ve been a dolphin fan my entire life since the Early 90s when Marino was slinging it. But I haven’t followed tweets or podcasts untill I started watching Reason and TD on YouTube so I don’t really know much. Lately I’ve been getting most of my info from here and then so I really don’t know what could be true. Just seemed like Neal was a nice enough dude not to lie. Either way our Fins are going to be the truth this year. I’m super excited!

How many expensive running backs did Brady have in his 20 year run with NE? He had guys like White making around league minimum running the ball. He didn't have a Christan McCaffery size contract in the back field ever.

Okay I'll concede that Taylor is better than Moestert, but that was never a point of this issue. Taylor is great and if we could have gotten him in the draft on his rookie contract I'd still be arguing against paying him McCaffery money.

Because paying 10+ million to any single runningback DOESNT WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. Add on top of that were giving away picks so we can hamstring our future bc of said contract makes this whole senerio an obserd proposition.

We also just drafted Achane, who could end up being just as explosive as Taylor a year or two from now. We might not even need Taylor.

True but Brady is a first ballet HOFer and had significant talant around him on oline, TE and slot. He was also a very healthy QB in his career unlike our beloved Tua

Yep, can't argue with any of that.

A 2nd that becomes a 1st if we make the SB could satisfy both sides. Irsay can say he got a 1st and I doubt if Grier cares about the 31st or 32nd pick if we are in the big game

Off topic but just to add some color (colour) to this thread while we wait and wait and wait...

When you start making posts that are nothing but insults like this one, I know I'm starting to get through to you. Because you know I'm right.

Trading for Taylor is short sighted and irresponsible. I'm glad you agree with me. Now we just need to get the other 7,000 fans on here to understand this and the quarter of a million Dolphin fans on Twitter and were getting somewhere.
Go see your Bryce Young post pls. ;)
