Could Devlin push henne and start mid season?

I think it's kinda funny that we almost had Flacco a few years back. Devlin looks strong though he'll have some serious competition. His confidence is good and I am sure that Henne will be looking over his shoulder. Sure there are people who are going to poke at Delaware because they aren't a "big time" school. I say come to Raymond Field and watch a game or two.

No.

He's a third string undrafted DII QB - Who was average at Penn State, not being able to beat out Darryl Clark.

that doesn't mean he will suck. Some undrafted players have succeeded as starters....Devon Bess and Arian Foster come to mind

Phucque Suck4 Luck (baby)!!!!

if we are going to suck we will be sucking because we SUCK, not for Luck

I have never hated such a talented QB as much as I do Andrew Luck. Some of you are ruining this quarterback prospect. By week 4, the Dolphins will be out of the Luck sweepstakes.

Lets hope we are undefeated, and not looking back in week 4. Luck looks like the real deal, but we will probably do just enough to miss out on him.

The Dolphins are going to have a wicked defense this year, Mark my words, this team goes at MINIMUM 8-8 (with/without Henne) . . . this is probably going to end up being the most talented team we have fielded since 2002/2003

we have some top five defenses since then and still have not really accomplished anything we shall see and success last year does not mean success this year in 2003 and 2006 we had top five defenses

It's not even the success from last year . . . I know we have a talented LB group, our DLine can compete any DLine in the league . . . we arguably have the best young CB tandemn in the league . . . our coordinator is well proven . . . this defense has a chance to really put the hammer down on teams this year. Our front 7 is beastly.

Be nice to have a camp story like Devlin emerging. Never know! Thats awesome!! Best man wins

Since 1971

Again, Henne had no offensive line, no running game, no TE, Henning play calls, Sparano FG fist pumps and much more. People make it like he's complete crap. Maybe we can stop calling a Wildcat play when he's in rhythm.

Don't forget his fastest offensive weapon was Brian Hartline and his 4.52 40 time, as well as being a #2 WR when on most teams he is a #3/#4 guy. This offense was so out of tune with today's NFL last year. I'm not saying Henne wasn't bad, he was . . . but the entire offense sucked.

I don't think that Devlin will be pushing Henne to start by mid season. I'm thinking that it will be by the end of preseason.

Although I agree with all of this, the bottom line is that he has consistently missed hitting his receivers when they are open and it is already documented that this has not changed in camp so far. Additionally, regardless of how smart he is on paper or how icy his nerves are, he doesn't seem to be able to diagnose defenses and audible to more appropriate offenses. Many times last year, he just threw to the wrong receiver. This is not entirely unheard of with a young QB but he seems to be regressing rather than progressing. I would love to see one of our quartebacks - Henne, Moore, Devlin, or a draftpick or signing in the future - take the reigns of this team and step up to lead. Diagnose the defenses before the snap, call the right play, and hit your receiver...easy, right?

So true. Furthermore, all these people are going to be shocked when he doesn't even enter the draft next year. With the rookie salary scale, money will not be enough of a factor for him to forgo his senior year of eligability.
