Could Devlin push henne and start mid season?

So far as Devlin is concerned, I heard a lot about him before the draft in a positive light and know that the draft gurus and draft boards are wrong about where people are chosen...a lot. Most people had him going in the 5-6 round that I have seen so we definitely got value picking him up as an UDFA, regardless. He isn't any worse off or at any less of an advantage to start than any of the other rookie QB's. They were held out of their facilities and OTAs and training camps until this week too. So, if he is as talented as it appears that he might be and if Henne is no better than he has been and Moore performs like 2010 rather than 2009, then yeah, I could definitely see Devlin challenging for the starting spot. Romo was undrafted and Brady was a 6th rounder so it can definitely happen just as easily as Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell can be waiting tables at Olive Garden.
 
They were talking on the radio about team speed and they said something I couldn't help but agree with . . . they said if you ran a relay race and took each teams 4 fastest guys on offense and put them on the team . . . Miami would finish 32nd out of 32 teams (dead last) every single time. If that isn't the truth . . . we were SLOWWWW on offense, too slow for today's NFL and 4.4 speed LB's. Henne was bad, but if you don't realize the pieces around him weren't bad . . . then hell I can't help you. Had absolutely NOBODY who could threaten a defense or take it to the house on one play. Miami NEVER had the fastest guy on the field in 16 games. I'll put money on that.

We had a decent oline(jake long gave henne time to throw,the oline of the wannstedt era did suck ***) plus ricky,bess and marshall...what else does he need?

Does it help when we did have an open man downfield Henne missed him EVERY time. How many times did Henne overthrow Hartline on a deep ball when Hartline indeed had more than a step on a defender? More than his fair share. Not to mention, Henne goes all the way downfield just fine, then stalls in the redzone, or he cant make a simple backdoor shoulder pass..

It is too early to make this statement. You might be right, but odds are against this statement being true.
 
Additionally, regardless of how smart he is on paper or how icy his nerves are, he doesn't seem to be able to diagnose defenses and audible to more appropriate offenses.

He was told NOT to change the plays last year. Hence, when other teams would tell US what play were going to run PRE SNAP..he could do nothing.
