mmmkay, is someone supposed to post Croyle's bio and stats 3x's in a row now??

I like Jacobs only if Croyle is gone and we don't have one of the big three ( Young, Leinart, and Cutler ). Jacobs will need time to sit. Even tho I think almost every QB coming into the league should sit awhile. Jacobs has alot of pluses and could be a very good QB. I would rather have Croyle, But if we drafted Jacobs in the 3rd than I would be happy. Jacobs stock seem to be really going up. I guess we will all know alot more after the Combine.

 did you just compare Brodie Croyle to Joe Montana

Croyle has a pretty good arm, and his size is a little small, but to compare him that way is just....odd

What's odd about it. Montana did not have ideal size and he lasted until the 2nd-3rd rd despite a successful college career because most NFL teams didn't think he had much upside either (due to physical attributes).
I was challenging the assertion that Croyle doesn't have much of an upside. :rolleyes2

Jacobs is probably the toughest player to get an accurate beat on in the entire draft. Kiper had it right when he said the most challenging player for him to value in the entire draft is going to be Jacobs. He's got such fantastic size, arm strength, accuracy, foot speed, and production. Yet, something is...off...about him.

Its his attitude. It is so low key and laid back. Even my father mentioned it seeing him play and comparing it to how he acts in real life. At points it seems like he is not even trying to win, just throw it to whoever gets open. A coach is going to really have to get to know Jacobs and see if he can mentaly take the game. I think he can.

olsen could be a steal late in the draft one of the top college qbs this yr in college and he is projectedd in the 5th or 6th but he could be nasty lil weak in arm stregnth but i bet he throws further than frerotte

Saw him in the skills competition, and his arm didn't look weak at all. But to answer the question, I'd take Croyle in the second. Everything they're saying about this guy, they said about Tom Brady. The only difference is that people recognize that this guy has a live arm, and that was another knock on Brady. I think Croyle with a year or two to sit and learn the system can be the next great Qb of the Phins. We have nothing to lose with the lousy losers that we've had to put up with.

Croyle by a long shot.

I wouldnt touch Omar Jacobs with one of New Englands picks.

I also would take Croyle, but I dont think he will be there when we pick in the 2nd rd. Jacobs might, although his stock is going up as well.

Would you draft him in the 4th ? (assuming Croyle and Whitehurst are gone)

Thats scary. I wasn't a big fan of his to begin with, after reading that I'm even more so hoping we steer clear.

I'd take Whitehurst in the 3rd.....in the 1st I'm hoping for Greenway and then either Mangold or a LT in the 2nd....now if we get a 1st for Ricky then I'll have to start all over again but maybe a guy like Cromartie....also if not Mongold then a guard like Gilles or Simms.

Ozzy rules!!
