Culpepper's new Press Release....

Wait wait..........Culpepper adjusted his deal to do us a favor? I think Daunte forgot that his career was in doubt after tearing 3 ligaments in his knee. Who the h*ll wanted to pay for his original contract? Give me a break.

There were other teams interested during that time frame and for possibly more than Miami agreed to pay.

Since when did this loser break MARINO's record? You picked a nice time to be gracious and courteous, you pylon, 2 days late. Give back the millions you got for sitting on your a##, while living in Florida, jerk and thanks for lying about your injury last year and this season. Trust me pepper you will not be forgotten, because until 2013, you will be a salary cap pain in the ***, that will haunt this organization. One more thing, pepper, please don't ever talk about Danny again, your not good enough to hold his filthy jock strap, never mind, comparing yourself to him, in any way.

I just noticed that...:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Somebody lied to him...Sorry Pep, you were about 370 yards short...

"Possibly" ...........that's your best response? Give me facts, not your guess-timate.

Damn all that laughing died down rather quick . . . u guys off the search engines yet? Its a fact, I remember in 2004 when he broke the record.

It's probably going to be hard for me to find much information regarding contracts since we are about two years removed but I will give it shot. I do know that Miami was not the only team in the mix. Detroit was one of the suitors if I am not mistaken. I'm searching now........

EDIT: Here's a few links....

This one hints that Minnesota may have blocked requests of his to speak to other teams at some point.......

That should get you started. As I surmised earlier finding information regarding contract parameters for deals that never happened will be tough.

I don't care. Go find it if you want to make a claim like that. I could turn right around and say that the Dolphins were offering the most money in a restructured contract, but what proof would I have? Essentially why I don't make comments like that.

Check my original post that you questioned. Possibly means just that. Possibly. And yes, you could make a statement saying that Miami was offering the most money. Good luck proving that. :wink:

It is now been confirmed that Daunte Culpepper is really a girly-man.

Grow up, little bi-atch, and get your stinkin' mind right. S*** could be really worse, at your age you could be in Iraq getting your legs blown off in an MV!!

C'mon man, stop deflecting. I never once denied that other teams were interested. I said that you claiming other teams were offering more money were unfounded and that Daunte absolutely had to restructure - it wasn't some favor he did for other teams.

All of those say nothing in regards to contract parameters, only mentioning teams interested.

Ya they blocked because they wanting to control the negotiations, but eventually found out that they couldn't because Daunte was inevitably going to have to restructure and would only do that if he were permitted to speak with the interested teams. That was they're right.

Good luck. Gonna be a while.
