The #Cowboys are still keeping the door open for a possible trade of former first-round pass-rusher Taco Charlton, but if nothing comes to fruition, they plan to move on from him, sources tell @SlaterNFL and me. With Robert Quinn back on the roster, Taco is likely out.

Don't forget that Stephen Ross is a huge Michigan fan and donated over $550M to the university (the Business School is named after him). He got to see Taco at his very best in college and probably knows him.
Little downside and good upside in submitting a claim for him.

I mean I’d be surprised if he ended up elsewhere, although eventually i expect him on Miami just from an “opportunity” standpoint.
