Dansby not happy with Dolphins’ decision to dump Chad Johnson

Just remember flynn there are many posts that I could pull proving you, WV, Hoops and Slimm wrong too. It happens to everyone.

can't speak for these other guys but you better dig long and hard if you want to find dirt on me...maybe a google search might turn up something...probably not

meanwhile.....dansby and his big contract are sitting on the sidelines.

Like I said, I am genuinely curious. I truly don't know what you're talking about and perfectly willing to hear what you are able to cite.

No worries I'm searching my post from my phone I believe it was during his stabbing incident with the Dolphins I was defending him and taking heat, I found the testimony from the detective saying by the angle of the wound it was impossible for Marshall to have dinner it.

I'm listening to the interview.

First off for context, Dansby answered a bunch of tough questions about their performance Friday. He said they didn't execute, they need to work hard, etc. Rosenberg even pushed it and said it seemed like on Hard Knocks we have all these things to be optimistic about Garrard having a good camp, Chad Johnson, the team looking good in practice, then suddenly Garrard's injured, Chad Johnson's arrested and off the team, and they go out and suck in the preseason game. Karlos took it, said they need to do better. He never pointed out that it was meaningless preseason action, said that even if it's not a meaningful situation they need to play better and prove things to the fans.

On how much of a distraction it is for a football team that was already trying to get past Brandon Marshall being traded to Chicago...he made it clear he disagreed personally with the situation. He's upset. His belief is that a guy should get a 3rd strike, that the organization should have stood behind him just because it was so out of character for Chad to end up in this situation. He wasn't ranting. He wasn't saying anything bad about the people that made the decision. He disagreed and said it's his personal opinion.

And you know how he finished it? And I guarantee this doesn't make it into ANY of the media reports about it...

"But the organization felt a different way about the situation, and they probably have more information than we know, and so they had to do what they had to do."

Is that really insubordinate? Come on, fellas. I think there's room for being reasonable about this, even on a message board.

Thank you for posting that CK but you know how the media likes to edit any story to create an even bigger story.

What is a 'regular job?'

Plenty of millionaires in charge of big, multimillion dollar departments at major international corporations get terminated for insubordination. I know two such men personally.

Professionalism. It matters.

You are comparing apples to dump trucks! You know full well I am about professionalism! But if Philbin is going to cut every player that doesn't tow the rope good luck filling the roster.

Liking back signing Johnson was foolish! Given the one strike circumstance they knew full well he couldn't follow that. So now by rushing to cut a guy that is popular with other players you have you're defensive captain going public. Now of her is talking I can promise many more are.

I wonder if a cheerleader came up to Dansby and told him she didn't like the angle he was taking to the ball, or the way he was covering TEs would he take her serious?? That isn't her job, that is not what she is getting paid to do, who really cares what she thinks, and who would put it in print?? And that is EXACTLY the way we should look at what Dansby thinks about decisions that are above his head. WHO CARES what Karlos thinks?? When he becomes a GM THEN I will want his opinion, NOT before!!

That would be an "N" to the ixnay! You're acting as defensively as when Olivia Munn slapped that restraining order on you!

See that is my point over a decade in the league and other then being a clown Johnson is a good guy and good in his community. Just researching this Loxoda and my bull**** detector goes off

for a fan of the dolphins it's disheartening and disappointing that dansby would choose this battle to publicly create a rift with the new coach. johnson is a textbook sociopath while dansby is behaving like a selfish, subversive, idiotic ass.

Liking back signing Johnson was foolish!

I definitely agree with this in hindsight. At the time, since he had been such a model citizen in New England, I figured it was a no risk move. But he seemed to be of the impression that they were going to let him be a grade-A moron here, and that obviously wasn't the case.

If Joe pa didn't get a 3rd strike why should ocho get get a 3rd strike? The 3rd strike idea is the whole problem. players these days think they can go out and act like morons all the time because they know it will be a slap on the hand waiting for them. Marshall is the perfect example, the guy just don't know when to quit. Now he is off to the bears and he gets 2 more chances to act a fool. I applaud Philbin or whomever made the call to dump him.

.

This is the freaking NFL. There are millions of people WHO ARE WILLING to follow simple rules that once they understand a FO is willing to make them follow will follow.

Shut up Dansby. I hope your ass is in shape to start the season cause for the first 10 games last season you were a disgrace at linebacker.
