Funny I see a lot of people that just last week claimed Darlington was the only reporter they trust and worth z damn bashing him now.

As I said I respect Darlington but he was just joining the flavor of the day yesterday irresponsibly.

It is not the flavor of the day it has been widely reported since Harbaughgate that Ireland had a increasingly bad rep throughout league inner circles. Toy guys just refuse to believe it. Did Darlington air that Nollan Carroll tweet was his source our did someone on here find it and decide that was his source? IMO Darlington is a rising star right now, he has become that by doing things the right way I really don't see him risking a good relationship he has with the Dolphins over a Nollan Carroll tweet!

It's really funny, because I think Jeff Ireland is a jerk and a bad GM, but here I am in the position of having to defend his sorry ass because people are so fed up that they're bashing him for the few things he does right. Just unbelievable.

Does Jeff know what his plans for the draft are? I'm going to assume yes. The guy might be an ******* and a socially inept putz, but he is calculating. As long as he knows what his plan is, Philbin knows what his plan is, and Ross knows what his plan is, why should he tell all of the blabbermouths in the front office about it? So that they can text the goods to people like Armando and Jeff Darlington?

Hasn't this team already been burned repeatedly by stuff like the Harbaugh leak? Didn't everyone agree that maybe they should keep their damn mouths shut from now on? And here they are, keeping their mouths shut...

Criticize the guy for being a dickwad who hasn't adequately addressed the QB issue, but not because he is being tight-lipped about the team's offseason strategy.

I just heard a clip of that interview. He said a player (not players) and did not mention anyone from the front office. Strange how easily the story gets changed.
