Jimmy James said:I don't really buy any argument that Boston is much better. Robinson did what he did with a team struggling at QB and with some sign of life at WR while Boston had one QB and no competition for stats. I don't really think the presence of a second season over 1000 yards says much unless you're implying that Robinson was "lucky" to have a 1400 yard season under those circumstances.
I don't think it was lucky, he is or was a good receiver, but I kind of think it was something like M.Muhammad and his 1,450 yards, I really don't think Muhammad will match those numbers again. He has always been solid in the past, and he has been playing for many years, but he never had number like 1,300, 1400, until last season he just exploded onto the spotlight, I see it more as an aberration, especially considering his age, and how long he's been in the league for, he was in the NFL since '96 I believe. I kind of see M.Robinson's 1,400 yard season as an aberration, too
