U dolphins fans sound like a broken record if this an if that u know what luck or not the jets caught breaks and ran with it much like all other good teams. Fact is jets made the playoffs 2 str8 years and got to the afccg while dolphins were sub .500 and watchin the playoffs. U guys can make up all these delusional situations in ur heads but u are what ur record says u r, until that changes keep moaning about who got lucky and whodidnt, fact is u guys were home watchin the playoffs, get above .500 and then come talk.

Trying to claim superiority on head to head record over the last 3 years is ridiculous, but totally expected from some of the homers on this board.

So miami has gone 3-1 against the Jets the past two years, whoop de fraking doo, where did that get you guys? Jets were still the better team both those years, and are clearly better right now as well.

the weakest team limping into the playoffs (aside from the jest) was the 09 Bengals who in their last 6 games before they took a knee against the jest, went 3-3 beating 2 sub 500 teams, losing to another as well as being outscored by 30 pts in losing to the 2 winning teams they faced. Dead team walking including the traumas of their WR and OC's wife dying during the season. The 08 fins team earned their way into the playoffs in a division where 3 teams were over 500 and the Pats QB won 11 games. The 09 jest team was gifted into the playoffs in a division where the Pats were the only team and Brady, the only QB to have a legitimate winning record in the division - that is all anyone who's objective needs to know about the legitimacy of a team that backed in to the playoffs based on the self-interest generosity of 2 other teams that played dead. /case closed

Ok u keep moaning about backin in, who cares jets were in dolphins were out case closed we got breaks took advantage u guys had to win ur games to get in and didnt bc of a choke job by the all time great henne (according to u guys based on PRESEASON he's as good as brady). Ok u guys are 3-1 in rex era congrats, u make it sound like the superbowl, the 2 teams match up well n games are always close just like any divisional rivalry. I'll give u guys the 2 wina every yr if that means u guys are home n we're in playoffs every yr lol

well objectively speaking, can't take anything away from last season.. but that body of work as easily makes for an anomoly as it does the designation "elite." The season before, we were both 7-7 teams, although the fins didn't lost 6 out of 7 going into the last 2 games. If the luck of the schedule was such that we had played Cinci and Indy, we'd have been THE 9-7 team that year and the jest probably 8-8 considering how dead Cinci was over the last 6 previous games. You can go on and on about the fins needing to win the last 2 games and choking, which is true, but without the league charity, the jest needed to win the atlanta game at home to seemingly have any chance of playoff entry and choked as well.

No team has wanted to lay down, and lose on purpose for us, dropped INTS by the tons, or waited till the last minute of games to do something stupid, and help us get the cheap victory, like has happened for the Jets the last two year. I will give you your dues though, the Jets do seem to pickit it up in the playoffs enough to end up losing in the championship.

SD '09 was the best team in football going into the playoffs. They were 13-3 and had won 11 straight.

SD beat 3 playoff bound teams all of 2009 and one was the Bengals. SD was also 1 and done. You say that the Jets are elite when they make the AFCC game in 09, yet you say SD (1 and done) was better than 08 Bal (AFCC game). You are not playing by your own rules.

You say that Bal played an over matched team in Miami, and an overrated 13-3 Tenn team to make the AFFC game. But the Jets played a mighty Bengal team, and the best 13-3 team (Chargers)? I think not! That sounds like the talk of a homer.

The game is not black and white, those missed FGs change the game. if he hits the first one we have a 20-6 lead instea dof 17-6, if he hits both we take a 23-13 lead in the 2nd half instead of it being 17-13 and in SD iof he hits the makeable one we don't go into prevent mode up 17-7 late.

So missed field goals change the game, but only to benefit the Jets?
Even if you have a 23-13 lead, Manning is still going to score 17 unanswered points to make it 30-23.

SD missed the first easy field goal (37 yards) on their second possession of the game. No one scored until SD scored a TD in the second quarter. It would have been 10-0 SD. The Jets don't score until the 3rd making it 7-3 SD. Right at the end of the 3rd SD turns it over deep on there side of the field. You don't think SD plays that series a little different if it is a 2 possession game at that point? Even with the turnover and score, it would have been 10-10 had SD made the first field goal. The Jets next score is at the 7:17 mark in the 4th making the score 17-7 (17-10 with the field goal). On SD next possession they drive into field goal range, and what do you know, another missed field goal. It would have been 17-13. The Jets tried to run out the clock, but could not. SD gets the ball back and scores what could have been the game winner. I suppose this is the drive that you will claim the Jets went into prevent defense right? Isn't a prevent defense supposed to stop big plays? Why then did SD gain 11 yards, 37 yards, and 19 yards in their first 3 plays of that series?
