Great analysis on Rosen’s rookie year and what he did wrong and where the Cardinals gave him no chance to succeed.
I'm skeptical that Rosen will fare better with the Dolphins in 2019, but I appreciate that you're posting some actual content with visual reference. I think a lot of people probably haven't even seen this kid play, since he was at UCLA and then last season with a dreadful Cards team that got no air time.
I will raise my hand. I watched very little of him in Arizona . . . .but his final year at UCLA I watched every one of his games.
Kids got real talent . . . And it is almost baffling to hear that he struggled so mightily in Arizona (often blaming him instead of what was around him) with many using the Tannehill narrative combined with the sack numbers . . . .and very little actual “watching of the game” . . . To back up their narrative.
Kid is every bit of Phillip Rivers IMO . . . .except for one key department . . . .There is valid concern about him as a leader of men and of him having internal attitude issues . . . .and that cannot be overlooked when you are talking a guy you expect to lead your franchise and your group of 53.
So despite the talent I think he has . . . .that potential lack of leadership trait is enough to sour me on him if it indeed is a factual one.
Truth be told, before Murray declared for football I heard nothing but positive energy with how Josh handled 2018.
We’ll see.

It amuses me that the majority criticizing Rosen are the same ones that made every excuse in the book for Tannehill and Hennehill
I've heard about the leadership issue coming out of college, but didn't hear anything resembling a complaint from one of his Arizona teammates. And I'll add that Rivers definitely has a reputation of getting under people's skin.

No question on Rivers, but his bravado and ****iness reflects more of a leadership style rather than lacking a leadership trait. He has always commanded respect of his peers on the team.
There seems to be a narrative that Josh doesn’t get that same level of respect tho. I dunno, he was a two time captain at UCLA and I watched him put that team on his back to keep them in games. Never even occured to me this was an issue.
I watched Rosen probably more tha. most. I usually bet against the Cardinals and the moneyline so I kept one eye open for the cards games.I will raise my hand. I watched very little of him in Arizona . . . .but his final year at UCLA I watched every one of his games.
