Hester's going to be cheap and will take a hometown discount on top of that. Get him in here - he's still an impact player on special teams.
He is 32...
The difference between Hester and thigpen is that Hester is a hall of famer that still runs a 4.38.
Hester would be primarily a returner but an offensive package with Wallace on one side and Hester on another. Either one has single coverage deep or they drop two safeties and hartline,Gibson,Matthews and clay are going to be having field days with how wide open that middle is.
If Miami's looking at return specialist why not go with Trendon Holliday? He's younger and better right now than Hester or Thigpen.
Note: the prick probably still steps out of bounds but as a 5th receiver/ return guy i can live with that :idk:
The value of versatility can really be overstated sometimes. I'd rather have an elite specialist than a mediocrity who has the versatility to be terrible at multiple positions.
He can play WR, especially if he was the 5th. No pressure on him to be the slot guy or something
