Do not resign Tua

Tua is about to absorb a tremendous amount of salary cap. He’s a solid qb no matter what, and I can say this from a place where I’ve never been pro Tua. His balls arent in my mouth like many, but they are about to sit on all of our faces whether we like it or not.

Let's go further

In games Tua started and finished.
Last 2 seasons Tua had 5 games under an 87 rating.
Allen has 6 just this season.

Tuas lowest rated game last 2 seasons was a 65.7

Allen has 3 games this season with a worse rating.

Couple that with Tua having a superior record then Allen in 1 score games.

Again, all the metrics and stats showTua is the more consistent and reliable QB then Allen. It's not really close.

But hey, some people get amazed by Allens 2 or 3 yard designed run plays for TDS.

OK, what’s the alternative? Seriously, let’s hear what you would do.

Is every team now going to refuse 2nd contracts for QB’s? Are Jax going to let Lawrence walk instead of extending him? Should the Eagles have let Hurts walk? The Chargers with Herbert?

What are the options?

Bro there is none. I’m literally accepting defeat. Tua is going to get his contract. Who can we pick up that’s better? No one. Who can we draft at 26+ that’s better? No one. But that doesn’t mean I have to **** rainbows about Tua just because he’s a solid starter who’s about to cost this franchise.

I get defending Tua, I really do. But to what end? Against josh Allen? Are you serious. I’d take him over 30 qbs in the nfl. Tua is about to be healthy(hold our breaths) for his first playoff game. Stop holding on to stupid stats. Allen is going to have his team in contention year after year. This isn’t even debatable by sain people.

Well Stats and metrics ACTUALLY show Tua is more likely to keep his team in contention over Allen.

Allen has been better at taking over games. Sure his dual threat is great. But, his play is more responsible for the Bills losses, or lack of success then Tuas.

However, Allens overall team is more responsible for keeping the Bills in contention then Miamis

You can argue and debate all you want. But facts are facts.

You can think or believe diferrently. That's OK. But it's based off of opinion not statistical facts.

He’s posted 2 seasons in a row a passer rating over 100. If he continues to do that he will be worth every dollar and he will have the Dolphins in playoff contention at a minimum nearly every year.

Facts are facts? Bro you are pulling facts to fit some pro Tua agenda that’s completely irrelevant where in the end we sit at Year 4 in Tuas career where he hasn’t even appeared, I repeat appeared, in a single playoff game, complete 1, I repeat 1 single full season healthy, and you want to somehow argue like Tua is somehow mathematically better then Josh Allen? I respect your opinion but I have to strongly disagree in the most polite fashion.

Once again, respect the opinion but the fact IMO that we keep reaching for metrics that haven’t accounted for a single playoff victory is telling.
 
To further explain the diferrence between team being more responsible or individual play.

Tua and Allen have the same amount of TOS last 4 games, so that's not a factor.

Buffalo defense worst game was 22 points allowed. 2 games were under 20.

Miami had allowed 59/28/20 and 0.

If we take offensive production of both teams. An Allem lead offense scored enough to go 2-2 in Miamis games, where a Tua led offense played good enough to go 3-1.

Again, if not for Buffalo's defense, they would have been eliminated 4 weeks ago.

For more perspective

Miamis defense allowed 15 points in the last 3 minutes of the Titans game. The most Buffalo's defense allowed in a whole game was 22 points in the last 4 games.

One thing. Reality is Josh Allen has actually “shown” in real life, that he keeps in team in contention and it’s not even a debate.

He also has had a better team. Is that really controversial? I'm not saying tua is better than Allen, but wins are a team stat.

Weird take. We currently have a better record than the bills despite our injury issues, especially on the OL.
