Do not resign Tua

Tua is Herbert (albeit better for sure).... He's a stat monster but when you actually watch the games that matter, Tua folds
I’ve watched them all. I would like to see him elevate his game in these big matchups, but you’re not going to insert Kirk Cousins or Russell Wilson into this lineup and start racking up more wins than Tua has. You’re just not.

Our issues this year so far has largely been due to injuries and the O Line. Also, the big games we’ve lost we’ve been stomped and our highly sought after defensive coordinator hasn’t had an answer to what the other team has done. I’m not going to put that on Tua.

These sound like the retaining Tannehill arguments from 2018. Tua’s like a frog in a pot of boiling water here. Deny the warming and comfy water until it burns you to death.

Omg ... The level of leap in this post is amazing..

To anyone who doesn't want to resign tua - what's your backup plan? He needs to improve, yes. Today wasn't on him. I love these get rid of tua posts. Shoot me some replacement options. I'll listen....

Thanks for saving me
Not ideal, i get it: But Kirk or Russ, both have had success. Despite what people may tell you, Russ has played well this year. Payton is just a moron and has lost his ability to coach a team.

With Tua, its the definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

I disagree

So, let me understand - don’t sign Tua and try again with the culpeppers, lemons and becks of the nfl. Got it. Hope you guys get what you wish for..

Cousins and Wilson are both 35 year old QBs for crying out loud. Their best years are BEHIND them. Tua’s best years are AHEAD of him. Build the team around him instead of hoping he can be the second coming of Marino every Sunday.

This loss was more on the defense than it was on the offense. Look at the 9ers game last week. Purdy threw 4 int and they still was within 1 score before they gave in. Pathetic effort

We don’t know the answer to the question yet. Let the year play out.

Will say it’’d be tough to give a big contract to a QB who has never won a playoff game, if that ends up being the case.

I would agree. I think there isn’t anyone else out there. I think we franchise him next year but that’s about it. I’m not paying him Herbert type money
