Exactly, which supports my premise that Marino was a self absorbed stat hound, while Kelly was not.
I'm still going through all the pages, not sure if it was answered.
But quick question, for comparison purposes.
What is Josh Allen's/Mahomes and let's say Burrow rating against winning teams.
For instance, Josh Allen has a better record against winning teas 17/17 opposed to 6/11 for Tua. However, Tua is SIGNIFICANTLY better in 1 score games.
So these stats are always interesting. What is it compared to other franchise QBS?
Kinda hard to avoid the pressure when he has to climb the ladder and there's a DT road block.
Let's convince Tannehill not to retire. That kid has pocket presence.
This is correct.
Josh Allen leads the league in TOS I believe, yet his defense has only allowed 30+ points ONCE this season.
It's a big diferrence when a QB is allowed to lead the league in TOS but have a defense that will keep the game close.
However, this season, when the defense kept it close, Allen is 4/6 or 5/6 in 1 score games and Tua is 4/2 in 1 score games.
So it stands to reason, if the game is close, Tua would be more successful then not at winning the game.
This is the problem when comparing win loss records for QBS. One teams defense typically keeps the game close when the other teams defense doesn't. It's not a truly fair comparison. So for me, it's more about 1 score games. Who performs better.
This is the problem with your question. Miami is not like the Bills/Chiefs/Eagles/Ravens.
When they get to the 2 yard line, they ACTUALLY utilize their RBS. They don't just let Allen rush 4 times or Herbert to throw 4 times or Mahomes to do a forward toss to the RB 4 times, or Hurts Tush push.
If Tua simply leads the team to scoring drives thats what's important.
He doesn't need a 400 yards 4 td performance to will his team to victory.
If he is leading TD drives that end with a short TD run by the RB that's just as good as a drive ending with a tush push
So yes, as his record in 1 score games indicate. If the game is close I 100% will expect or have faith in Tua pulling out the victory. His whole career has proven he is more RELIABLE in close games then Allen.

That is his only move.
He has done that spin move on more than one occasion . He does it when he knows he can’t put run the dlineman. One of these times, he will try and spin out of pressure and the defensive lineman will be looking for him to do that and then, you know the rest.

The Dolphins are 1-8 in the last 2 seasons when Tua has a passer rating under 92 btw. Buffalo are 9-6 under the same conditions in the last 2 seasons.
Meanwhile here is Tua "struggling" the last few weeks...

100 %correct.
Most people have no clue that the Bills defense created 4 TOS, in the1st half, inside NES 30 yard line. Zappe INT, Zappe INT, WR fumbles ZAPPE int.
Yet the mighty Allen and the team that is supposedly now the 3rd favorite to win the SB, only scored 27 points and 16 points off TOS where 3 of them started in the red zone. Imagine if Tua did that?
So, I guess Allen carried his team to thar victory huh? Lol
Not 1 game did Allen put on his back and win.
If Tua had a defense creating 4 tos in the red zone and a RB rushing for over 200 yards, I guarantee you he wins those games and his numbers look a helluva lot better then Allen.
Buffalo won 3 of those 4 games despite Allen.

Baltimore was Tua's first game with a completion percentage under 60% all season.
Number 1 in completion percentage and number 2 in yards per attempt.
Some of you are out of control.
If Allen had Tua's record and stats he'd be a -5000 favorite to win the MVP.

I said the same about Purdy. If a media darling like Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Herbert or Burrow had Purdy's stats they would have already given them the MVP.

I don't understand the disdain for Purdy, you'd think people would be excited Mr. Irrelevant ended up being a potential star or potentially the next Tom Brady.
I have a theory but that's outside the parameters of this message board.
Tua came into the NFL with pre-conceived notions about him that he has proven wrong by this point, but people refuse to accept they were wrong about him and are not fair towards him.

I agree 100%. Glad you ripped the Band-Aid off. It needed to be done!This offensive system is EXTREMELY QB friendly. It does require a cerebral QB however. McDaniel has turned an average, immobile QB from an average, meh guy to a top 10 QB. Imagine what he can do with an actual good QB who ya know, can stand in the pocket for longer than 2.5 seconds.
Imagine having an NFL QB who cannot get hit. WTF? Allen/Hurts/LJ/Mahomes/Burrow are monsters. They can extend plays and put their teams on their backs. Oh and their fans dont cringe when they get tackled (well Burrow maybe)
Tua is what he will always be.. He cannot get hit, he needs to get the ball out in under 2.5 seconds, he cannot escape with his legs, he lacks any mobility, he cannot extend plays, he absolutely shits the bed against top teams. Someone look it up, his record against winning teams is something like 3-12
Sign Russ or Kirk who has balled in the playoffs
If you're a fan of Tua, that's awesome.. Just know, he is not capable of LEADING this team to a super bowl. He needs an opportunistic defense and almost perfect OL play.
The quicker we rip the bandaid off, the better it will be in the long run
