​This could be true, but Flynn is also unproven and questionable.

Flynn is the next hot thing on the market after a small sample size of work.

adding to that, how many backups are backups for reasons like rogers was to brett...most backups are backups for a reason...think about it, our best QB since marino in terms of wins (and playoff wins) was fiedler and IMO 9 teams out of 10 he would have been a backup (a pretty good backup with a good amount of practice but still a back up not even at noodle arm's level)

I am tired of backups (Feeley, fiedler, Sage, Lucas), washed up has-beens (ferotte, green, culpepper), and never was WTF are they in the NFL (Cleo, Beck)
If we cannot get a 1st round starter then pick up a back up with the intention of him backing up and let moore try to develope. chances are if moore doesnt get better we will have a top 10 pick again next year.
