No more beating around the bush or what you believe. On record what do you believe should be his fate. I heard so many say if he did not have a winning season he should be gone and now they are trying to find ways to backtrack. If you believe he should be give a reason and same if you think we should keep him.

I personally think no Gm should be allowed to go five straight seasons without posting a winning season that's the ultimate no accountability if he retains his job once again.

YES YES YES! This season was playoffs or bust. It busted. Time to GTFO!

NO CEO would survive Year 5 if he only posted ONE profitable year in that time span.
 
Yes!! He just spent 200m of Ross' money and had 5 picks in the 1st 82 and it only gets us 1 more win. I think Dion Jordan is gonna be a good player but we gave a pick away and we didn't get a LT. He also swapped out LB's and our run D got way worse. He's had more than enough time to turn this around and he's failed miserably. Time to go!!
 
Ireland had done some good things, and some head scratchers as well...

If Ross has a better guy he can get, then yes, go ahead and replace Ireland. Otherwise, no.

You don't build a franchise by firing everybody, every time you're pissed off. I know this is shocking information to alot of posters here.
 
I pick other, if you fire Ireland then you must fire Philbin and let the new GM pick the coach, if want to give Philbin one more yr than I say let him stay......

No offense, but on this board I wear that title as a badge of honor.....
 
How many years has Ireland been here?

2008: 11-5 - but Parcells was in charge, right?
2009: 7-9 - but Parcells was in charge, right?
2010: 7-9 - was Parcells in charge? who knows?
2011: 6-10 - Parcells definitely wasn't in charge!
2012: 7-9 - Parcells definitely wasn't in charge!
2013: 8-8 - Parcells wasn't in charge!

Six years, only one winning season. It was the year that Parcells ran everything. It was a fluke year where we had a historically easy schedule (seriously, look it up. We played against TWO divisions that sent 8-8 / 9-7 teams to the playoffs) and kept scraping by marginal teams.

The Bucs just fired Mark Dominik and he has brought in a lot more talent than Jeff Ireland.

Fire. Jeff. Ireland.

So Philbin has been so good as a coach you determine that we keep a GM just because of him. I don't get your logic but oh well.
Should we just call Philbin coach Choke.
 
I've run out of excuses for Ireland. I just dont know if Ross knows how to find anyone better.

I agree with this. I'm only on board with firing Ireland if it means Philbin can stay at least 1 more year. I am not in favor of gutting the entire team because if Ireland's past transgressions.

If we could replace Ireland with someone who is willing to work with Philbin, then I'd be for it. If we could promote someone like Brian Gaine and remove the "final say" authority from the GM role, I'd be for that scenario as well. But to just fire the whole scouting staff, GM, coaching staff, ect is a giant step backwards imo. We will get worse before we get better if we do that.
