We need to drop wheelerbe at Lbs they are so awful I can't stand them anymore
Just a little perspective here- it's preseason. Yes this is the time to see how your players do; however, the playbook is limited and not all the players are in. This is where coaches put players in situations to see how they will do so there are no surprises in the regular season. Furthermore, you base your view of said player off of only a few series you are missing with how they would put together a complete game.
Don't freak out yet- we have options to start at G and it's obvious the coaching staff is evaluating those options.
Mccoy is best in the league.
I have no faith in Philbin to make any changes until is too late. His history with us shows no differant
Do you have some evidence to back that up? History has shown us that he wanted to cut Incognito and trade for Albert but was denied by the GM. I think Philbin outsmarted most of us on that decision.
And too late??? You realize we were 8-6 with the Bills and Jets standing in our way to 10 wins right? What kind of ****ing donkey would make changes when you're 8-6 and just off of big wins over one of the best team in football and the Steelers in their house??? So what, you think this was such a great team that 8-6 was an underachievement? You think 10-4 or something was possible with a few tweaks to the roster? So tell us, besides Matt Moore, who was riding pine that makes such a difference in the outcome? Dion Jordan? HAHHAHAHAHAHA
And consider this:
-we lost what was probably going to be our biggest weapon on offense in Keller in preseason
-we lost our second best weapon halfway through the season
-we lost our third best weapon at the worst time
-the entire draft class was essentially red shirted thanks to drafting an entire class of injured players
-we spent $100 million plus on 3 free agents that all relatively sucked
-we left $24 million sitting in the bank collecting dust. No good team does that.
-mediocre QB play. Low 80's rating generally translates to about an 8-8 record
-and if Incognito wasn't dumb enough to leave the N word on tape that whole scandal doesn't happen. Certainly Incognito doesn't get suspended
You guys act like if the coaches just push the right buttons we could be 19-0 every season. Be reasonable!!! The Seahawks GM said in one of his opening pressers that they were working off of a 4 year plan. If the great Pete Carroll with all of his accolades is afforded four years then why does our guy only get two? And our guy is ahead of where Carroll was in year 2 with the Seahawks. And our guy is completely changing philosophies on both sides of the ball.
IMO 10-6 would have been an amazing coaching job with everything considered. And it was right there for the taking with two more good performances from Tannehill. Just 2 mediocre performances probably gets us to the playoffs. And two of the worst performances of Tannehill's career gets us 8-8. Could Philbin have done some things differently to squeeze out an extra win or two? Probably. For one he could have stripped Tannehill of his power to make audibles when the game is on the line. Allowing Tannehill to do that might have cost us a win but its less of a coaching mistake and more of an investment that will hopefully pay off this year or next.
Who's that?
Does anyone that the decision to replace Dallas in not Benton's? Does anyone believe that the decision to replace Wheeler is not Coyle's?

I am not sure why it matters, but I am guessing that the decision is collaborative between the position coach, the appropriate coordinator, and Philbin. I know some are worried that we won't do the right thing, but I am confident we will.
Just that some are putting things on Philbin, who they do not like, and forgetting the coaches they do like in making moves.
