There are now 3 things about Feeley that are indisputable.
1. He is one tough dude. I can not imagine the beating he took last year and yet was able to maintain his composure, not blame anyone, and actually be effective in several games.
2. Before Jim Bates, Feeley sucked. After Jim Bates, Feeley greatly improved by winning games, most importantly defeating the World Champs. This proves that with better coaching and more support Feeley will get better.
3. The coaches are not worried about Feeley. Saban would have drafted a QB had he been worried. Like all of us, I'm sure they don't have tremendous confidence in AJ, but they're obviously not worried. Frerote is both insurance and tutor for AJ.
Konrad is only confirming what we all knew. The offense, under Wanny, was absolutely horrible. Ricky Williams single-handedly, gave the O what little spark it had. Things will be so much different under Saban. AJ will struggle this year, but I still think he will be decent.
