Does the Raider/Houston trade affect Surtain's value?

The Buchannon trade has nothing to do with Surtain P.Buc has 2 years left on his "cheap" Rookie Contact ! Surtain needs a Multi year Multi million extension + a big cap hit.

Understood, but the question remains...does it add value to Surtain and put some additiona heat on KC? Buchannan and Surtain are "arguably" equal in talent and another slot just opened for a CB.

Value is only determined by the player's ability, but also the trading partner's need as well...and there is no "D" in KC.

Just a homer here...but I would think Surtain's value just went up....Surtain has not only been better longer than Buchannan....but is a better corner period.
K.C. has a blueprint to follow....and now just a 2nd round pick seems a decent price.

isn't Ty Law still out there, I been thinking for a long time Now, KC should trade for Surtain, AND sign Ty Law if they could afford it. If both Law, and Surtain Reamain healthy they'd have the best corner combo in the NFL!!!!
