Unecessary sarcasm. He said FIRST round.
No one knows what Hickey's plans are, but I think he's looking to upgrade LB play on this team. Thats a much bigger need than DB.
Especially if you consider the type of talent Mosley could be.

If a team's OL sucks (like Miami's) then what good is a #1 WR or TE if they do not have time to run their routes. What good is a RB if he if is tackled in the backfield. Bottom-line the Phinz must fix the OL ASAP (it doesn't matter what round or rounds they do it) anything else is pointless, it's just basic football 101 IMHO. I have no idea why a few people on this site do not see how important having a good OL is and trip-out about not picking OL high in the draft. I blame Capt ball watcher "Dave Hyde" that dipstick has no football IQ and IMHO has poisoned the minds of many Phinz fans against picking offensive lineman high in the draft. Capt ball watcher "Dave Hyde" says since they do not score TD's then you should not draft OL high......but Capt ball watcher just doesn't understand that if the OL sucks chips your play makers can not make plays (or score) period. Last year's Phinz OL was simply AWFUL.
yes, the OL was one of the worst in the nfl last year. so bad, that imo pretty much any turnover will substantially improve it. but you guys want to overreact and dump a ton of resources into it like that will make our offensive woes go away.
if we draft OL in the first round we will have 3 former first round linemen and our highest skill position player will be 3rd rounder mike wallace. i would trade 3 first round OL for a first round talent at WR, RB and TE in a heartbeat. the OL can be comprised of quality FA pickups and mid round picks. let that be the unit to overachieve, where 40 time and ball skills do not matter.
Logic is lost on some people.
it's not logic, nor is it fact. it's your opinion.
no thanks to the OL in the first round. we've done that twice in the last 6 years and it's had little impact on the success of this team, the same as zach martin or any OL will have if we take them at 19.
...I don't know anything about Sims but i really like Mason. The most important thing is finding a back that can play every down. That means can pass protect, catch and run for short yardage. I understand the league is not an every down RB league anymore...
I didn't know there were sarcasm rules.
Please explain how drafting a skill position is more important than OL at this moment.
