Dolphins and Jalen Ramsey mutually agree to seek a trade

That came with a new contract though. Since he already got not one but 2 new deals and his 2nd one hasn’t even started I’d think that’s not as vital for his new team.

If there is no new deal his cap hits are vet minimum, 17 and 19 million next 3 years for new team with no guaranteed money making him worth more since Miami is footing the bill.

Bro you love fighting for the wrong side of an argument lol

Cap space isn’t an issue unless he wants a new deal with it. Miami has already paid his signing/restructure and roster bonus this year leaving his cap hits for his new team at vet minimum. His next two years is 17 and 19 which isn’t bad for 2026 and 2027. I’d imagine any contender unless he is actually being an ahole and asking for his 3rd new deal in 3 years.

Floated this jokingly but Ramsey and tyreek to the ravens for their 1st? lol both players would cost the ravens around 13 million combined year one and makes them very scary. Probably more madden then reality but not sure how much longer Henry last and hill/henry/lamar with that oline would be unstoppable as well as their cb’s are shakey. If they wanted to go all in that’s the move.

Raven/Chargers or Packers could be enticed in this Madden scenarion.

Also, I am not worried about trading them in the division. If we are trading these guys, I wouldn't expect much this season. It's clear it's at minimum a soft rebuild.

If I can get a day 2 pick right now for Ramsey I'm taking that deal

Though right now with his salary and his age it's probably going to be a day 3 pick

Also unrelated but I'm feeling Tyreek is going to get dealt as well.
Probably not so unrelated to trade Hill. We're seeing a soft rebuild. Not having Armstead and Campbell on the team is going to create a leadership vacuum. I'm guessing the team does not want Ramsey and Hill to be the voices of the locker room.

Haha, all the homers will still be blinded by the light though.

Ramsey mailed it in last year just like the rest of them. His effort was piss poor down the stretch.

This contract was always terrible.

Bring on the rebuild!!!!

There is talk that Will Johnson’s stock is plunging. He is an injury risk and also has a 13th percentile shuttle. McShay is saying that he’s running low 4.5’s. With Miami’s’ focus on explosive players I have to wonder if he’d be in the mix at 13.

I’m just bored killing time at work most of the time, passes the time.

I’m right with everything Tua related the rest of the time it’s just opinions and unlike 90% of people on here I try to stay mostly positive rather then the typical “we suck, franchise is burning, we will never be good, 2-15 at best” fan

I think that's often the "rub" when we here about "mutually agreed to seek a trade". The fact is, the Dolphins can say that, but are under no obligation to accept a deal they don't see as positive.

IOW, if a team offers up a #2, great. Jump on it. If they offer up less, meh, "pass".

I think they might get a future #2, plus perhaps a low rounder thrown in. Is that enough? IDK. We don't really need any more low rd. picks, and futures do us no good now. Does simply unloading the salary carry weight/value?

I can see a few different ways to look at it.
I love the rationale.

Zero chance we get a 2 with that contract.

Fair enough def makes the board more fun and you’re a good writer

Nobody denied he didn’t have insider info, anyone that paid attention knew he killed it last offseason however this season he’s been off more than a few times.

As of now has a player been traded? I’ll help you out, the answer is no which makes his tweet as of now not true.
Well, to be fair, that's how the social media game is played. Sensationalized headlines elicit clicks. Like it or don't, but at least recognize the reality of today's world.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, is held to the type of journalistic standards of the past. Even if some tried, they would quickly become irrelevant.

Dude, he didn’t say the player was already traded as of the tweet. You’re stuck on the technicalities. And that’s fine.

Really don’t care to continue this…… this will all be settled in a week or so. And if he does get traded I don’t expect people to change their tunes. That is also fine.

All love. ✌🏾

I would say 49ers but they purged old vets as well.
