Dolphins are hiring Butch Barry as new OL coach

This is great, but teaching your players how to win one-on-one is only half of the story. You also have to coach them up to be good as a unit, and based on the numbers I posted, they were not good as a unit. Wilson tends to hold the ball forever, sure, but having watched Denver play a few times last year, a lot of the sacks came from free runners waltzing into the backfield because someone didn't understand the assignment.

Having said that, between the group of young, highly drafted, underperforming OL guys we have (needing to improve individually, which might be Barry's forte), and a former OL coach OC in Smith (who surely understands and can teach the schemes to the group), and the experience and leadership of Armstead, it might just work out.

Sorry to be confused.
Does this mean the guy we hired leaves notes in lockers?
That seems awful.

not what I said, basically saying the Denver GM is on a big hot seat and Allbright is known as someone who will say whatever the FO wants out there. And the stuff out there is way too over the top to take seriously.

Not saying he's a good hire but this is like cartoon villain level of stories
