The Kansas City Chiefs currently have competition at kicker between Ryan Succop and rookie Cairo Santos. It is doubtful the Chiefs would go into the regular season with two kickers as part of the 53-man roster. One of these kickers should be available soon.

5th round picks are hardly studs most of the time. I did argue when we drafted him we could have drafted a kicker later but we cant complain about 5th round picks and not many thought K wasn't a problem at that time.
It all goes in cycles. hell we released Prater for Carpenter and until now he has been fine.
