Dolphins blew it with passing on Herbert

You do realize that everything you say in this post makes zero sense. Herbert has 2700 yards 22 td and 6 int on a bad team. It's not from throwing screen passes. You watch one game and say, look what he did against the jets! 326 against the raiders, 278 vs. Denver (did Tua have 78?), 264 NO, 290 Tampa, 330 Carolina, 311 KC. Screen passes. Lol.

If we don't score on defense and special teams, Tua doesn't beat the rams, doesn't beat the Chargers, and doesn't beat the Cardinals. So don't act as if Herbert's at fault for their 2-7 record. They are terrible on defense and botched leads in several games. He's put them on position to win.

Also, warts on Herbert's game that he's causing his team to lose games? What are you watching? You need to look at the above numbers. Stop reverting to him in college. Tua was awful under pressure in college too, he just never saw much of it. One also played at Alabama, the other not so much.

You know what Herbert never did? Ask out of a conference title game with a mystery injury after he couldn't handle the pressure. He also doesn't have a fake hip and holes in his ankles from being hit because he holds the ball too long.

Make up all the excuses as to why you think Tua is better than Herbert. Maybe one day but not even close at the moment.

If you can look yourself in the mirror and say you would rather have Tua then Herbert right now, your sanity needs to be questioned. Sorry.
Shake it off dude, his posts never make much sense around here

Tua has shown he is tough, smart, accurate etc... whoever is complaning about Tua I can’t help you. The OL last Sunday got dominated by Denver’s DL. The OL IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. This team is performing better then expected. If I’m Grier and Flores , I’m drafting all offense next draft. Get 2 best receivers w the 2 first rounders, grab a rb and add lineman. Upgrade defense w free agents if possible.
Tough...okay. Smart, not turning it over but holding it too long. Accurate? Uh no. 61%, deep balls all over the place, cannot throw on the run at all with any accuracy. Two sub-100 yard games.

Are we watching the same games? He's a top 5 pick in the draft, needs to be much, much better. The leash is short, that's today's world.

I do think you’re expecting too much too soon.

100 yards? My bad. Haha. I do absolutely believe in Brian Flores though. So if he says he's the man, he's the man.
He’s a rookie QB four games in. Period. Very few have success this early. If Tua had the Chargers WRs he’d have the Herbert numbers at this point

You sound outrageously biased and clearly didn't watch Herbert at all in college so this doesn't even warrant a real response.

PS: Herbert missed two seasons to broken bones, so spare me the Iron Man angle.

Easy, I get that. Read this though. This is some monumentally bad stuff. To your point though, as this reads, it's still early.

I read that earlier. Agree to a certain extent. I’m still playing the QB who gives me the better chance in the red zone. We also were not expecting to make the playoffs this year, this year was based on growth. Look we have the the bengals and jets coming up, Tua or Fitz we‘re expecting two wins there. Then we got the Raiders, Chiefs, Pats, and Bills. Whether we have Fitz or Tua those games are gonna be a crap shoot.

Again, you sound ridiculous. Yes, I watched him multiple times. Was he perfect, no but he had an the tools to be great. I believe the system he was in was not perfect for him either. He's clearly getting better coaching and taking advantage of it.

As for bias, now the history teacher in me comes out. I simply made a claim based on your argument and provided you with evidence to back it up. Your claimed he's doing nothing but throwing screen passes. I gave you his numbers. Clearly not the case. You said he's causing his team to lose games, I showed you he's clearly not doing that. But Tua has 3 wins...I showed you why. Then when you brought college into it and how one couldn't handle pressure, I gave you a concrete example of the other coming out of a championship game with a "rolled ankle." I also stated another claim that Tua's ability to handle pressure in college is largely on question. I then told you one does not have a fake hip and holes in his ankle from holding the ball too long. These are facts. You did respond with facts of your own. Herbert did break good collar bone.

This is not a bias, I'm simply stating a claim that Herbert is a better quarterback at this point than Tua is. Stop using the lame college argument because college is over and look who's clearly been better. Also read where I said maybe not in the future but right now.

I think you have to play Tua. You need to know what you have. Fitz is such a wildcard. I do think the world of him as a person. My point was Tua, rookie or not, needs to be better. Expectations are higher for these guys now. We should be able to roll out Marino and the Marks brothers and throw for 100 tomorrow. ****, get Jimmy Jensen out there!

He keeps going back to that college argument because he’s got nothing else. It doesn’t even make sense LOL
He’s blind to what’s happening in the NOW
Too funny

Spilled milk and good grief. Tua does not need your excuses. Let fans think this and say their piece. What if Tua flames out and never becomes good? What if Herbert flames out and never repeats his rookie performance? I mean type in Tua in google. Then type in Herbert in google. Completely different worlds. All I ask is this? Please be realistic in your fandom and expect greatness. Do not reward it blindly or based on maybe's.
