IMO a non-story. Anyone with half a brain understood Martin needed to toughen up. It wasn't a trade secret.

2) Incognito - burning down the house and making himself toxic to every other team in the league
3) Coaches/Team - Why?

Cog's soft tone of "weather the storm" implies to me he understands he won't work again if he comes out swinging against a club.

This leads me to question this story. Toughen up as in "get him to work harder and play meaner" -- I believe coaches may have done that. Toughen up as in "harass a mentally unstable wimp with racial slurs" -- I don't believe it for a second.

I agree with you - but none of that will matter when this hits the court room, which it will for some sort of settlement. Toughening up is not viewed well in the workplace by the courts.

there's no way philbin should be held responsible for cogs vmail messages unless they got evidence of philbin saying the same kind of things...which seems like no chance in hell...if philbin gets fired for this he's gettng hozed...a scapegoat to appease the media

it's rediculous...cogs never gonna play in the league again martins alienated himself that no matter what he's never gonna lose the stigma he carries now...

all this over a guy losing his stuff in a team lunch mentally having a break down...in pro football no less...where the code is toughness and tough love

The leadership and management on this team is really lacking. If there was one move that Philbin and Crew botched horribly in the offseason was flushing all the prior year's leaders out of the team. With vets like Long and Bush on the team, some of this could have been handled better possibly.

Bush just absolutely HAD to go because he fumbled in a game...once or twice. This franchise is run by a collection of idiots. If it comes out that these guys had something to do with it, good riddance!
