Dolphins have 'expectation of mastery' for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa

Imo I don’t see the influx of talent you speaking of

The line is better by subtraction sure but Westbrook and Gordon don’t move the needle that much

I’m relying on better years from our already established skill players

Hill, waddle, Jonuu, Achane, wright

I do expect more from
Malik..

We really had no production from 3-6 in the receiver room last year

I covered this in another thread, but the Dolphins had the 3rd fewest delay of game penalties in the league last year. Up from 5th least the year prior. The “too many delay of game penalties” mantra is just a made up narrative.
It’s like these fans never watch other teams play.

I think Daniels and Savaiinaea could be significant upgrades at guard. But the real question is whether the philosophy in the run game changes enough to really move the needle, as you say.

Gordon was a 6th round pick, so maybe we are expecting too much from him. But Mattison is also a bigger back who could help.

There's more to it than being better in short-yardage, but that's really the main thing I'm looking for.

I agree with you on the established players. Both Hill and Waddle had down years, by their standards.

Marttison is really a jag

So yeah the two new guards are upgrades no doubt

Familiarity with the system and young players getting better is the calling card for improvement, at least it better be by many on this team, especially the qb

If one of the starting Oline goes down it’s really a bad situation with this depth
