Dolphins hire Tannebaum as consultant

This is ****ing ponderous! This is the slug who as a crapologist extended the worst statistical QB in the league on the heels of blowing 3 games on their way to the '11 postseason losing to 3 teams with losing records throwing up a 60QBR with 5TDs and 7ints into unnecessary cap hell, traded up to reach for buttfumble, drafted DuCasse and Gholston and stonewalled Terry Broadway when advocating drafting Russell Wilson either by trading up in the 3rd or drafting him in the 2nd instead of the scary good Stephen Hill standing pat with Sanchez.

As a glorified bean-counter he's worthless; a critical decision-makers even more so! The only benefit I can see having him around is the George Costanzo Effect of doing the opposite of whatever he recommends. Just a ponderous hiring.

Signs Vaark up for Tannebuam bobble head night!

Nothing I wrote was in any way a conspiracy theory. I simply stated the facts of Mr. Ross' situation. You can try to wash away those facts all you want, but it doesn't make it any less true.

He is a New Yorker first, remember that. I never claimed Ross is secretly some Jets fan that is trying to sabotage the Dolphins. All I am saying is that his networking with the Jets brass over the years is making it so that he is routinely bringing in former Jets folks into the fold in our organization - and given their ineptitude over the years, that isn't something to emulate.

Actually, if you're from Wash DC or anywhere but SoFlorida, Ross is more likely to be more of a real Fins fan than you - having graduated from N. Miami Beach H.S. and being a long time part time resident of Palm Beach.

people really blowing this up. when I read the article I immediately assumed it was just to gather a little bit of info on the Jets....I mean since when do fans freak out over who their team hires as a "consultant"?

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL, brother. Moved to San Diego at 27. DC at 31. I am 1000x more of a South Florida person than Mr. Ross ever was or ever will be.

A few things:

when you're toxic it can be infectious.. kinda like exposing your team to ebola virus

... and as a consultant supposedly giving input: if this isn't an example of "garbage in/garbage out" I dunno what its :idk:

So if you're from the area, do you know where N. Miami Beach is? Actually having been born in Detroiit, graduating H.S. locally and attending U of FL before transfering to UM, until he got his LLM from NYU, he had nothing to do with NY! Beyond that, he developed the regentrified City Place in West Palm and is a lolng time legal resident of an 11,000 sq foot estate in West Palm. So he's got more ties to FL than NY aside from the logical place to build and headquarter his fortune, puts his money where his mouth is by upgrading a deteriorating part of W Palm and unlike you, is actually still here part of the year. But that doesn't make him 1000x more of a fan than you, nor vice versa. If not a Fins fan, he should actually be a Lions fan based on where he was born and principally went to school - not NY although the agendists would like to think so.

Interesting tweets from a decent source:

Mike Tannenbaum Dolphins & will continue at Priority Sports. Anybody knows business understands perfect hire for Mr Ross lure Jim Harbaugh

https://twitter.com/NFLDraftBites/status/497929856534196224

Jim Harbaugh the #Dolphins Head Coach in either 2015 or 2016. In 2015 it'd require a draft pick. Hickey & Philbin definition of lame ducks

https://twitter.com/NFLDraftBites/status/497930167860592641

this^ unless philbin makes it to the 2nd round of the playoffs I think Ross will make a huge push for Harbaugh. Which I have no problem with

Why debate Ross' sfl cred? I think it's pretty clear that no one who feels deep roots to this area and its teams would pursue purchasing the ****ing jests.

Using that Pretzel Logic - these Billionaire$ who wanted into professional sports ownership should have patiently waited:
» Arthur Blank: Until one of the NY teams became available instead of purchasing the Atlanta Falcons
» Zygie Wilf: see Arthur Blank (instead of purchasing the Minnesota Vikings)
» Jimmy Haslem: waited until the TN Titans or Pittsburgh Steelers became available instead of carpet bagging in Cleveland
» Jeffrey Lorie: Waited for an opportunity to buy the Patriots instead of purchasing the Eagles
» The DiBartolo- York Family: Waited for the Browns to change ownership.. or made Modell an offer he couldn't refuse instead of traipsing cross country to buy the 49ers
» Mark Cuban: should have tried to get the NBA to expand to Pittsburgh rather than purchasing the Mavericks; should have waited for the Pirates to come up for sale instead of making a bid for the Cubs.

...and etc ad nauseum
