Dolphins hire Tannebaum as consultant

I wish you did, too. That last year was hilarious.

not as funny as seeing the best dolphin season in 5 years(and 2nd best in the last 10) go up in smoke when the young, more athletic Tom Brady led you to 7 pts in the last 2 games combined:lol:

Junc came back to finheaven.

buttfumble did not go back to the Jets.

Oh, what a cruel world.

Ugh, i believe your mistaken. Junc declared he was gone for good, would be signing up for Bills/Patriots sites, and this forum would irrevocably change for the worse. A man of his integrity would never go back on his word. Just couldnt happen.

Thus the far more likely scenario is someone hacked his account, patterned their behavior to his, and has been absolutely savvy in circumventing the mods IP checks. Clearly this is a long term ploy to disgrace Junc's good name by taking ridiculous positions and insisting delusions are really reality. Hes attempting to trick everyone into hating Junc's account. But im not falling for it. I will fondly remember the original Junc, the man of principle with the slightly unhealthy AFC Championship losses obsession, not this angry impostor.

You can't compare the 2012 Jets season to any other teams misfortunes. A single play sits at the top of the NFLs most absurd play in history. Honorable mention would have to go to Santonio Holmes alley oop to a DB. Moment after moment of comedy gold in that season.

it was pretty bad but it's better than the not having a playoff win since 2000.

Terry Bradway: "Mike, a few inches taller and Russell Wilson would go before RG3. He's a fantastic talent that could have gotten us into the playoffs last season instead of choking those 3 last games against weak opponents. We can steal him in the second round."

Tannenbaum: "Terry you had your chance to draft qbr.. I'm not only standing pat with Sanchez but whatever the cost, I'm extending him so mind your own business!"

(during the draft)
Bradway: "Mike Wilson's fallen to the 3rd...trade up and steal him"
Tannenbaum:" Terry, we have our franchise QB and now I got him a franchise receiver in Stephen Hill. That's the missing link so mind your own beeswax! "

Bradway walking away:" What a ****ing moron!"

How is it any less funny because the Dolphins have been bad? Where have I said that the Dolphins aren't a bad team?

I also must have missed where I wished that Henne would come back because we could be a playoff team, or kept saying Ireland did a good job. Wouldn't that be some funny ****? Yes, yes it would.

Not as funny as the butt fumble, though. Chad Hennes and Jeff Irelands are quickly forgotten. The butt fumble will live on.

but Henne never helped you get to the playoffs, mark has more playoff wins in just 4 seasons as a starter than Miami from 1995-current

No, it really isn't.

actually it is, I can take a bad moment in a bad season but you guys in a parity era haven't won a playoff game since before George W. Bush took office.

A bad moment.

how is the track record "rancid"? You want to question some moves i get it but he built 2 legit sb contenders and probably a 3rd if favre doesn't sabotage our 2008 season.

We drafted pretty well under mike, he traded away too many picks for the draftniks but he drafted well. Of the 22 starters on the '09 title team only 4 weren't brought in by mike. Same in 2010.

Let's be fair. He wasn't ron wolf but he did a good job here.

i certainly wish we had mark, i'd guarantee a playoff spot w/ him w/ the talent we have(best since 2010) around the qb.

the real junk would guaranteed a sb berth! You have been outted! ~ by spesh!

Don't know if I mentioned that in 07, a season after basking in the WC loss with Bradway's peeps, Tannenbaum built the 4-12 Jets which objectively speaking would have been 2-14 if Randy Mueller hadn't built a 1-15 team. And of course in '12 Magical Mike The bountiful bean-counter put all the pieces in place to build his 6-10 version - a team so epically inept that it's signature moment is the first ever Butt 6 immortalized in video, leggo building blocks and as a newly recognized urban dictionary phrase.

I wish, unfortunately our loss is Philly's gain. I hope Geno can at least be competent this year, if so we'll be pretty good.

Yep, one man's trash is another man's syphilis...is that how it goes? Something like that...
