Emotion is a big part of being a fan and Mandich expressed what many of us felt as the events occured on the field.And it was a sincere emotion that we could all identify with.Like us he was proud to be a Dolphin fan because of our winning tradition.

I know that difficult for a Jet fan to understand that because your team is still an also-run and there is very little to be proud of :baghead: except for Joe Namath :drinker:
who played just after the Dutch acquired Manhatten from the natives:wharf: .

That's exactly the kind of announcers I LIKE in the radio booth. You must hate the Vikings booth (I think they're the best in the league).

He was supposed to be a professional announcer not a homeristic fan.

I'd be proud of my 4-12 team too :lol: You must have been asleep the last decade, we haven't been as bad as you guys were last year since '96.

Oh and by the way you do realize your last Championship was only 5 years after ours? I wasn't alive for either of them. I love how you guys talk like you are the 49ers or Cowboys :lol:

I hate homer announcers, I'm not sure about Minny. I know the dolphin guys from Inside the NFL and other NFL films productions but I don't pay attention to Minny during those.
 
I am a Dolphin Fan that is why I am here .. Why are you here ? Bored, laidoff, ******ed,........ in other words are you a jet fan ? If so please thanks for the insanely stupid thread, since really no one gives a [insert feces reference here] who the announcers are just that the Dolphins are beating up on the Jets, have a good one..

I come here to engage in intelligent discussion w/ a division rival, sometimes I get it and other times posters like you come along.
 
I like Mandich because that is what makes the Radio announcers so special for the fans...... they too are fans. I live in Jersey and I think the Jet announcers aren't too bad. I understand you like Professionalism, but their is a way to be professional and still back the team....... To each his own i guess.

I didn't say you guys shouldn't like him, I'm just not into the announcers cheering in the booth. I don't think dolphin fans like Howard David but I loved when David was doing our games w/ Dave Jennings.

I can't believe I forgot his name, but that guy that does the Steelers commentary has the world's most annoying voice.

Myron Cope, he used to annoy me but now he just makes me laugh.

I like David..... I think they made a good combo. Suprised you don't like Jennings i think he is pretty knowledgable.
