YES! Finally some good news!

BTW for everyone who is worried about players leaving and not wanting to be back here because of martin/incognito, I think this says alot. Well, it says two things specifically IMO:

1. Grimes didn't even hit the FA market to test it so clearly he's not worried about the lockerroom
2. Money matters so players will still come here
 
JLC will kill us somehow on this deal.

Man, I would KILL if some how they could pull off a move for someone like S.Shields/Talib etc while reducing Patterson's contract.

i'm going on the high side of the guaranteed money $16 mil...otherwise he could just force their tag hand and play worst case one year $11 mil...
 
If Aponte keeps her track record this deal will be loaded on the front end and easy to shed after two years with the bulk of the money coming next season.
