Dolphins re-sign Pro Bowl Cornerback Brent Grimes

So much for FA players not wanting to sign and play in Miami. All that locker room stuff was media driven the whole time, I'm glad the players are not taking it seriously.

Good thing for the Dolphins but it doesn't really make me believe anything about next year. Grimes for the most part took care of one half of the field and we still got eaten up for constant first downs by every QB from Brady to Thad Lewis and Geno Smith. Even with one side pretty much taken away they couldn't figure out how to cover the middle.

Per pff, Brent Grimes has a +34.7 CB coverage grade, only Sherman and Revis have a higher grade than him.

This is really good news. Grimes was excellent last year. The contract is not crippling. This works all the way around. Fair deal for a consummate pro.

Yeah, except our defense was one of our strengths last season and the only reason we were in so many games late - why don't you focus on that 29th ranked offense before mentioning the faults of a top 10 defense.
