Yeah, except our defense was one of our strengths last season and the only reason we were in so many games late - why don't you focus on that 29th ranked offense before mentioning the faults of a top 10 defense.
Keep thinking that bro. This defense wasn't giving up big plays, they just gave up first down conversion after first down conversion which is why they were worse than their ranking, which doesn't take into account points, when the points were scored, or conversion percentages, etc. But I'm done trying to educate people on these things. Congratulate yourself on a top 10 defense that was still on a team that wasn't good enough. A real defense in this league doesn't get beat twice by Thad Lewis and a single time by Geno Smith regardless of who is on offense. I can't imagine Seattle or San Francisco having that hold them back.
