And predictableThe amount or absolute dead weight we rostered last year is incredible.
Grier sucks at his job

This is what happens when you are paying your top guys so much of the cap. Extensions or redoing contracts for Ramsey, Tyreek, Armstead, AJ, Chubb, X, etc, etc, left a very shaky bottom of the roster. Then injuries hit and we are screwed. I think that more than anything is the reason for the late season collapses. Not talking about 2024. That was caused by Tua getting hurt. But 2023, we were starting street guys at OLB and bums at IOL down the stretch.The amount or absolute dead weight we rostered last year is incredible.
Brother I think they will continue to trickle in so they can stay ahead of March 13th deadline for being under the cap. They will need to set the table for FA and the draft as well.I wonder if all of their moves will come in bunches, like within this next week or if it will trickle
I agree. He was not a star, but solid #2 CB behind Ramsey with no one close backing him up.Fuller is a dumb release unless there is a better plan. That wasn't too bad a contract with no major cap relief.
Only releasing Mostert + Smythe gives hope. Now what do you do @ CB? How about the depth @ CB? WE are so thin at the position now we might as well have put up a billboard on I95 saying "We are now hiring and drafting CB's. Please apply!"These moves give me some hope that the front have woken up and will address needs. No more messing around. Invest in the trenches.
I watched the guy during the games. He was around the ball frequently and I thought a good journeyman CB. If you want to release players, start where you are strong at the position with depth behind it. Another bone-headed move by Grier IMO. The only unknown is if it is injury-related. If so, then I retract my position.I was so right about fuller said he be disappointing
Many thought we got a steal. He was hugest rated free agent corner last year. But the corner market was weak.
Good move today
"We need to add another DB to compete with Smith and for depth purposes."I don't think there is a DB worthy of pick 13.
I like Amos in round 2 or Burke in round 3. Riley in round 4 is another possibility.
We need to add another DB to compete with Smith and for depth purposes.
Agree on all of that EXCEPT OLIne sucked the worst and has sucked for YEARS and will continue until Grier prioritizes it. I am thinking there must be an injury issue with Fuller they did not publicize, he was solid for the money.Team wasn’t good last year. Everybody is unhappy. Then we move on from three guys and people are saying it was mistake releasing fuller. Why? We need changes and need turnovers and need healthy younger guys. Fuller didn’t do any of that.
Was he limping around, or wearing any braces? Cut does not make sense to me. He was our #2 CB on a team with few.The Fuller cut is surprising and disappointing. Kendall has been patronizing my business for the past couple of weeks. I’ve got to know him a little and he’s a really good guy. Hopefully we have a plan here because we didn’t really save anything by releasing him.
I see .500 ballWhich is why I'm not very confident of a winning season in 2025.
4 guards: Rds., 1,2,3,4 Even Grier probably hits on one keeper going that route.Don't forget, 4 guards. I think we definitely need 2 DL. We may only need 1 TE.
So we get one guard that way. Now...only 3 more to go4 guards: Rds., 1,2,3,4 Even Grier probably hits on one keeper going that route.
You really know how to start my day off! LmaoThe players Grier has selected or traded for that cost multiple draft picks & a few other wasted picks... a tale of the Dolphins demise.
Tyreek trade = 1st, 2nd, two 4ths & a 6th.
Chubb trade = 1st & 4th
Ross tampering with Brady = 1st & 3rd
Jalen Wright = 3rd & 4th
Eichenburg = 2nd & 3rd
Waddle = two 1sts & 4th
Kindley = two 4ths
Curtis Weaver = 6th & 7th
Rosen = 2nd & 6th
Jeff Wilson = 5th
Chase Claypool = 6th
Igbo = 1st
Cam Smith = 2nd
Channing Tindal = 2nd
Ezukanma = 4th
Hunter Long = 3rd
Deiter = 3rd
Totals
1st rounders spent = 6
2nd rounders spent= 5
3rd rounders spent= 5
4th rounders spent= 8
5th rounders spent= 1
6th rounders spent= 4
7th rounders spent= 1
For a grand total of 30 draft picks spent on....
wait for it.....
only TWO players that will be starting for the team in 2025, if Tyreek is traded and Chubb is cut.
