Dolphins request permission to speak with Gamble

we disagree, it's hard to win a SB. 1 out of 32 does it each year. Miami has been to ONE postseason since 2002. Just making the playoffs would be a huge success. Carolina had a successful season despite not winning a playoff game. Lovie has had much more success than philbin.

BTW...congratulations!!!

Yesterday was the Jets SB anniversary...only 45 years ago...makes 2002 look like yesterday.

:lol2:

i hate to disagree with you Junc but when I read his comment I was like....we aren't far behind

it's been too long for all of us. It would be nice if we both won in the coming years. I'm tired of seeing NE, Den, SF, Ind, Pitt, Bal, etc... having chances to win SBs.

i pop a bottle every time the AFC east plays itself out of Super Bowl contention..its a tradition in my house, I would throw up if the Jets won, but the fact that they made NE run for a few years was absolutely interesting to watch, Im as well tired of the NE, BAL, Pit contention winning
IM not so upset about Denver winning because they win on the shoulders of Manning, after he retires they will be bad...and I mean terrible.

I am numb to NE winning but I sure wouldn't want to see them win on our homefield.

Den and NE will stink post Brady/Manning. I look forward to those days.

Den doesn't win on the shoulders of Manning, he's obviously a huge part but that is the most talented O around a QB I have seen since the late 90s/early 00s Rams. Remember, they won a playoff game w/ Tebow at QB. Ne is ALL about Brady, w/o him they'd have won 5-6 games this year.

well I in my ignorance tab the RO offense as the reason Denver won ball games, they have decent Defense, but lets be honest if this were baseball the difference between Manning and brock OSweiler WAR would be at or around 5 games

you realize your last one was 40 years ago, right?

I know your our resident Jet fan and have a hard time with math...but last time we were in a SB was 1984. Yes we lost and it's been a long time ago but it wasnt 40 years ago.:chuckle:

I think last Super Bowl win was implied there.

ok so you got humiliated in the SB last 29 years ago- congrats!

It would be if we only went to one:chuckle:

we've never lost a SB:chuckle:

Remember, w/ less talent they made the playoffs w/ Tim Tebow and won a playoff game. Peyton now has the same playoff record as Tebow in Denver- both 1-1:lol:

Guys, stay on topic. This thread has nothing to do with Super Bowls.

Yeah, with his father in hospice, I doubt he wants to go anywhere.
Not to sound cruel at all. I obviously do not want anyone to die, but if his dad is in Hospice he won't be around much longer. With my experiences with family in hospice, it was 3 weeks the first time and a month the second time. Hospice is a great place though, they really take good care of the terminally ill very well. They do the things nobody else wants to do.

Damn! Can you make that pic any bigger!!!??? No, I'm being serious. Can you please make it bigger?

Albert Breer thinks he's going to stay in Philly:

Albert Breer ‏@AlbertBreer
My sense is that Eagles VP Tom Gamble fully plans to stay in Philly. He believes in Chip Kelly's program, not ready to bolt after 1 year.
Another thing to remember with Gamble planning to stay -- Eagles win, and he'll have plenty more chances. He's well-regarded in the NFL
