Dolphins sign Jamaal Westerman

westerman is average. the jets didn't want him and they have terrible pass rushers
 
Big point many are overlooking ...

The pass rush needs depth, it wears down badly by the 3-4th Quarter when the game is on the line.

He'll rotate in to give others a blow ... good depth pickup AND improves Special Teams.

But yes, we STiLL NEED Pass Rush.
 
at this point if we signed (insert name here), there will people on here saying all he needs is a fair shot.. numbers dont mean a thing... blah blah blah.... we keep going after rejects... thats why we suck year after year
 
Considering the jests desperate need for a pass rush and though he's got nothing else going for him, rexy does know his D. So if they let Jamaal go, I'd have to believe there are reasons.

The only reason we could use him is to figure out Jets schemes etc... just like belichek does
 
We dont scheme anything. that requires planning ahead.
 
Westerman's contract size will tell us their intention with him for our team.

If it's anything significant, then they would envision his as a situational pass rusher.

If not, then he is depth and special teams help. Just my opinion.

So Rex knows defense. So why doesn't he have any pass rushers on the jets? Why did he sign Poole, smith, Bart Scott for all that money for just one good year, and there are other safeties on that team
Who suck also.
